    If you ever want to disable something like forced motion blur with shader toggler make sure you're moving as you're collecting the shader. The shader has to be present while its capturing all of the ones present in the scene.

    Very useful. Thu UI thing is good to know for OLEDS.
    For online games, some of them you can move the UI if you change the in-game setting “screen size”. For example top spin 2k25. So with this option , on some games you might be able to move in a different possition the UI. In top spin at least; it only affect the UI, the game still showing at full screen.

    thank you so much for this, i will never have to deal with annoying ass fog in my games again now.
    edit: i just used this addon to remove the shitty volumetric fog in elden ring, and my god.... it is literally like playing an entirely different game. i am genuinely baffled at how much better and more colorful the game looks. i will be using this in every single game i am able to XD this is nothing short of amazing. ty so much for this video, you are the GOAT of oled hdr gaming.

    Great info, I was hoping you'd figure out the toggler stuff, perfectly explained as usual. Something you can do for the pause menu visibility is use steam's controller layout to add the toggle hotkey as a 2nd command to the pause button, and/or to a button that's not used in game. You can even do it with "unpurchased" non-steam games. I have ff7 remake's HUD toggle mod F4 hotkey on the pause and map buttons, works great 99% but sometimes it gets out of sync and you just double tap to fix it

    • @CynicalCreator
      @CynicalCreator Před 6 měsíci

      Was just looking at it and noticed you can set the 2nd command to activate with long presses and double taps too, opens up the options that don't interfere with the game. To get the HUD to come up in game I was just double tapping pause to get it out of sync then single press pause to get back to the game with HUD, then doing it again to get back to no HUD game. But think I'm going to also set the F4 HUD toggle to long press L3 because that's only a run toggle in game, then the HUD turns on when I pause or bring up the map and I can toggle it in game without the double tapping

  • @Hybred

    Fog is used to hide low resolution distant textures or poor view distances which is why it can look bad disabling it.
    Users should have control over the fog that's close to the camera though. Which I know how to disable in Unreal Engine, is this a Unreal Engine game?

    Hello Plasma. What are your recommended settings for Assassin Creed: Mirage? Is it 1000 nits or 4000 nits and what exposure ?

  • @HabibiFresh
    @HabibiFresh Před 6 měsíci +1

    ok so to summarize, games with native hdr, when we fix black floor, we have to first remove hud, remove taa, also remove fog (or maybe go in a dark room that doesnt have fog) and then fix the blackfloor and then enable everything after that?
    Also games have volumetric fog, do i need reshade on top of that or just turn off volumetric fog in game and thats it?

    i will never understand why developers put volumetric fog into these fucking games. it absolutely RUINS the visuals EVERY SINGLE TIME. fog adds NOTHING to the visual experience of any game and only serves to grey out and ruin the colors of the image. i DESPISE volumetric fog.
