Will it void your Tesla if you add a window tint on all the windows, including the panoramic roof? (except the front windshield)
Marky Maarty nope! Best of all it can be removed if need be. However your warranty will be void if the tint shop doesn’t do a good job and damages the electronics or interior. Make sure you go to a place that is experienced with tinting Tesla
@@TeslaRaj Yeah, I heard and watched a lot of window tinting youtube videos about it. Using the correct way of application. I have a few place I contacted that already worked with Tesla cars and have a good high reviews. Did you also got your front windshield tinted?
Would you recommend the half back window tinted as well? Or just the side windows on the driver + passenger sides? I just noticed that the AC is NOT cool enough on my M3. Not sure if all Tesla's are like this. Or something is wrong with my car. I feel the air but it's not the usual cool air @50-70f. Blasted from 6-7 of air.
Not to mention the "Auto Unlock". I have the app in my pocket and now it stopped unlocking my car automatically. I need to bring out my phone, open the app and unlock the car through the app. I've only had the car for 4 days.

mortchad yaaas can’t stress enough on ur car being well lit. The oem lights are super weak! I have Abstract Ocean lights in trunk, all doors, front foot wells, glove box and inside armrest! Don’t forget your discount 15% teslaraj
I added the self-opening struts for the frunk and trunk as seen on i1 Tesla videos and the rear door seal scuff plates seen there also. Haven't wrapped my console yet, updated my lighting, added door handle decals inside or out, or painted my brake calibers but most everything else I've done. In Nevada, you're only required to have a front plate if the car comes with a bracket installed for one so I just never installed mine that came with the car so it's a non-issue for me. Good video and look forward to more.

Good Job -- The one thing that I have added --- FUNCTIONAL -- Auto Raising Trunk & Frunk … Installation and product listing are with Brian at i1Tesla - he does a great job of showing the installation and getting the correct items for the each install. Just a press on the Control button on the APP and Trunk or Frunk will spring open.

I got the wall connector for convenience. In my country all houses have 400 volt 3 phase power (normal sockets in the house is usually 230 volt, the 400 volt 3 phase, used to be for tumble dryers etc). So a model 3/Y can charge at 11 kW and the S/X at 22 kW. I know that usually you don't come home from a long trip and have to take another, but I just wanted to be sure to have the power. Also in the future, if we see 200 kWh batteries in EV's they won't take too long to charge either.

Been thinking about it! They are for sure a cool mod and I see myself needing that feature a lot more now. I know Brian from i1tesla and he is a very handy guy so I feel comfortable knowing his stamp of approval is on it. Just been lazy to order 😜
My 2006 had the same electronic door latches and door buttons. Odd no one had any issues back then.

You should get the new maxpider rear trunk mat. Its much nicer and more cohesive.
Yes. I have the cabin set. Want to get the maxpider trunk, but it is not available right now. In short supply. They have the whole set available with it, but I already have the cabin. What he has is s cheap rubber mat that has no lip and was just cut from a sheet.
Great video. Since you did a video on sentry mode, you could do a video on the usb stick preparation and using a usb hub in the front console. Also how to change the cables. Many others have these videos, but if people are more familiar with your channel, that way you cover all the info. You could also bring up the roof rack (if you can get one, unavailable right now) or the eco hitch. Also the wind noise reduction rubber for the roof. You keep referring at times to the emergency release handle as a button which may confuse some people. Put the word handle on the video when you say that.

Anthony LaPenta too dark for me personally. I mainly wanted it for the function of heat rejection without a priority of privacy so went with something in the middle.

UV is only part of the tint protection, the part that blocks solar heat on your arms is IR (Infrared Radiation) blocking feature of the tint product. All the factory glass in the car is UV blocking already. Just look at the labeling on the glass. I'm curious what the Crystaline tint job cost? I've heard it's really expensive.
Dennis Schlieckau thaaaaat was the word i was trying to remember. Infrared! You are completely right! Crystalline for my entire car costed around $1000 maybe a bit more.
Do you recommend smoking front/rear lights? If so what company is best?
Not really because it reduces visibility and could cause you to get a ticket. I believe the only company that I know that has this is RPMtesla
look at ottosteer license plates as he make magnetic one and cheaper than bandit or any other plus you can use original plates with it.

Getting our Tesla in October, 2020. Question - we set steering wheel, seats, etc up to know my husband and me. As one of us approaches the car to drive it, how will it know which one of us is in the driver’s seat? Do we have to touch the screen to tell it who is going to drive?
Mary Gruber yes you will. Unfortunately at this time it cannot identify phone of person in seat, maybe a future enhancement. It will default go back to last setting and you can touch the screen to choose something different
auto frunk/trunk opening using stronger struts like @i1tesla Brian ;) ,, 32g flash drive for dashcam recording,, usb to 4 usb ports to enable extra goods like usb flash,, I also highly suggest 303 (30313-CSR) Aerospace Protectant Trigger Sprayer, 32 Fl. oz. A MUST for protection

Hey raj how does the car do when you’re using it for like ten hours straight but only driving like 200 miles. Can the long range model3 last for said ten hours and not have to charge in between. Thanks.
Leonardo Setal it can definitely last the 200 miles however what exactly is being done with the balance of the 7 hours? If a lot of heat is being used battery will deplete faster. Otherwise it shouldn’t have an issue. I have not had the car sit idle to see how long it goes yet.
Tesla Raj I mean I do ride share. So I be driving for ten (10) hours non stop for abt 200 miles. I know the lr model3 can do 200 miles easy but can it do 200 miles when driving for ten hours straight. ? I’m wondering if the battery would need a recharge before I’m finished my shift.

Hi Grace! its holding up perfectly and I am impressed. The TESLA letters is heat resistant vinyl specially made for calipers so not painted. I thought it was worth it because I love the look of them.

Tesla Raj no ambient lighting. It is so dark at night. There is a footwell light but doesn’t seem like it is activated.

A very useful video Raj. Here are a few points.
The Tesla Bros stickers are nowhere near as nice as Abstract Oceans. I have both. Sadly Abstract Ocean doesn't make them in red.
The floor mats I don't own yet, but after extensive research, the 3Dmaxpider mats do appear to be the best.
I think the Nomad is #2. Nice, but the Jeda version 2 is a little better in my opinion.
I'm not a fan of screen protectors generally because the glass is just so hard to scratch these days but a matte finish is a good idea to remove glare. Did you install it yourself? I might get one for the reasons you mentioned. Good advice. So many miss these points.
I'm not a fan of the tough pro floor matts. Really fugly and not as good as Tesla's.
Wraps are a really good idea and Abstract Ocean's are rated really highly.
Droplock is a great idea!
I'm going to get a tray. I don't know which yet.
The thing I don't like about "the bandit" is people who bump your vehicle while parallel parking, could crush the plastic loovers it connects to.
I hear the lighting is great. I haven't bought it yet.

Here are a few other ideas:
The Aero wheel kit. Great for those of us that went with sensible but ugly wheels.
A really good sunshade.
We could make the door buttons in red, I just steered away from it on the basis that red=danger (mostly). Definitely an easy option though, if there's demand...
Shannon Bradford all valid points!! I think a lot of products are made by multiple vendors and these are just what I have and liked. But yes others may make better. I did install screen protector by myself, super easy. My only gripe on the max spider mats is the logo. The lighting is amazing and I live abstract ocean. With the tray i had one before that prevented the phone tray from being able to be lifted so precision is important hence why I liked the 3Tray. Fair point on Bandit. I would hope nobody is bumping you when parking! Lol

Shannon Bradford super easy, just proper alcohol wipe and then start from one side to the other side to limit bubbles that you have to squegee out
I did. Model 3 is easy because the screen is not recessed like Model X and S.

i noticed you already have your HOV stickers on your car. I can't stand the way these look even though mine are red and match my calipers. The lilac purple ones are even worse with a thick white border! Many are putting these on PPF so they don't peel up the paint when they expire. However, I don't care to leave these on my car unless I KNOW I'll be using the HOV lanes. So I only put them on as needed with these (removable and re-stick):

MAXpider also makes Frunk and Trunk mats now too. I wish I would have waited to order these instead of the Weathertech/Tesla OEM ones. I have the MAXpider floor mats for my interior and besides matching, the trunk allows you to access the lower trunk with a fold.
I would also suggest keeping some baby wipes (I'm using Kirkland from Costco). These keep my white interior clean on accidents or even cleaning jean stains. They fit perfectly in the space on the floor behind the center arm rest (Using MAXpider floor mats - in front of the center rear passenger feet). Now if only I could find a nice tissue box cover that would match the white interior...
Kenneth Jones - There is a trick for making your windshield sticker repositional: Just touch the sticky side to your shirt first; the tiny bit of lint it picks up makes the sticker less sticky! Have Fun with your Tesla!

Are the interior door opener stickers glow in the dark?
No. I have them. But they are pretty bright and when the car is stopped and cabin lights are on, they are quite visible.
Why didn't you show us the dash? Barely visible on the part of the video where you're highlighting it.

Michael Schneider nope, love it. Minor cosmetic early on when I got it because it was a very early vin but it was fixed very quickly. No issues since
@@TeslaRaj keep us(me) updated on this, i do have a concern about fit and finish and overall quality of teslas. tesla seems good about coming out and repairing their cars though. do you have a model s also? if so which model you like better?
Michael Schneider I have helped many owners receive their cars and currently I don’t see any build concerns. I only have a Model 3 and feel that if space wise it works for you is the best investment because it’s incorporates the newest tech. The Model S and X will eventually get a refresh and when that happens the current ones will drop in price. However with these types of cars I recommend going with the newer style and tech. Nothing wrong with current s or x but design wise i love the 3 and next generation s and x will have a similar design to the 3
One thing about the scent wedge, when you have AC on max, the air will blow it out.

That shouldn't be the case, sometimes what happens is if there is a lot of temperature fluctuation the wood will expand and contract, working on a design tweak to adjust for this :) Thanks so much for your support!

The camera just takes forever to focus!
What happens to the rear passengers if the vehicle goes into deep water and the electrics short out. If they are unable to open the door then they are going to drown.
I hope Tesla does not expect them to find their way to the front doors to escape because this is only going to end in disaster. For this reason one of the safest vehicles goes way down the list in my opinion.

Those floor mats are awful. I would use them during snowy winters or in rainy areas ONLY. I prefer carpet ones much more. In sunny states, they are more than enough.
