The other videos made it so complicated, I did to my bimmer, almost 4 yrs ago... and you're absolutely right... this is the easier way, opposed to going through the wheel well. It's just a lil' bit tight, where the bulbs are located. But; this is the easier way. Good video, good job!. 💪🏾 Thanks!
This is the facelift version that is indeed really easy. The earlier models 2006-2007 have a whole different setup for the angel eye bulb which requires the removal of the wheel arch and whole bunch more.
Exactly how I do it. note on older models like my 2007 328i coupe the wires are cracking and dry. may need to put some electrical tape of them to make sure they are not bare and exposed.

Having to use the wheel well is for cars that have halogen lights. I’d you have factory xenon HID lights then you can get at the DRL from the hood.
