This is why every wheel shop will tell you to re-torque your wheels after a couple hundred kilometres. Although it is still rare to happen there are a number of factors that can cause this like bolt stretching, falls torque reading due to friction and the bolt slightly shifting due to vibration and forces.

    • @haiiyouu

They will tell you that due to legal reasons so you can't be held accountable if someone doesn't tighten the bolts properly. If they are torqued to spec once they are torqued forever.

@@JohnDoe_333 you should check and re-tighten them after about 50-100km drive after a change, and all serious / professional shops will tell you to do so. Avoid any who don't. 1:55 Low rolling resistance ≠ low grip, it loosely follows, sure, but you can absolutely make a tire with good grip and low rolling resistance, something you'll find fairly quickly if you compare lots of different tires with each other.
A brand new tire 30 years ago would have much lower grip compared to its rolling restistance compared to a brand new one today, and the same thing applies if you compare a cheap chinese tire and an expensive premium one. It's much more about how you design the tire.
