I will always miss him I will always love the first movie and only the first one. and wow what a nice collection of Smoky and the Bandit stuff I wish I had one even though my dad won't let me have one
Yeah me too. He had a pretty good run, but it's always sad to lose people who while you may not have known them personally, they helped to make your life more enjoyable. I'm with you the first movie is really the only Smokey movie for me, and I'd have to wait for school holidays at my Grandmas to rent out the VHS to watch it, my old man wasn't real keen on it either for some reason lol.

I was surprised to learn earlier this year that there are actually seven Bandit movies, with four of them being made-for-tv prequels. :O
Thanks Summer! For me any Smokey movie without Burt is like AC/DC without Bon Scott, so I'm not in any rush to see the others, the third movie was bad enough. Hope your Impala is progressing to plan for you!

Sweet job man. I got the mini and the T-shirt in the mail today as well (actually, they delivered it to my neighbor's house...) And they look great. I will have to repair the antenna, but that's all good.

I have that Funko Pop too! I'm not a fan either, but I have it, Venkman from Ghostbusters, Crow from MST3K and Mr. Rogers and that's really all the role models a man needs. I love this video so much. I'm a HUGE Bandit fan and LOVE the idea of making Big Enos's caddy. The ERTL Boss Hogg Caddy would be a good candidate for this one too. Yeah, this is brilliant.
The ERTL Boss Hogg Caddy has the horns on the front too, just finding one cheap might be a problem. I have to admit I had to look up MST3K, but I had heard of it, just not seen it.

Have you ever thought about restoring NASCAR cars? There’s so many beat up ones out there from kids destroying them and I think you were the guy who can fix them up!
Hi Zack, I don’t see a lot of NASCAR stuff here in Australia, but thanks for your vote of confidence in my ‘abilities’ lol. I’ve built a 1/25 Petty Belvedere racer, and now I’m thinking of converting some HW 69 Daytonas 🤔
