I use Molotow Chrome ink. As I was doing this one for someone other than myself I did go beyond a straight resto on this one, it probably didn't need it, it would have been a lot easier.

@PBsRetroRestorations yeah that also is what I heard ... they also painted Interceptor on the back of one of the Pursuit cars by mistake and could not afford to correct that as well .. Max was supposed to be the only Interceptor .. but the opening scenes show one Pursuit painted car with Interceptor on the back ... was a very low-budget film .. they used The Vigilantes for the bikers cause they all had their own bikes ..

Thank you. Yeah, I used to play music when I was working on cars, and then I'd have to mute the lot because of copyright claims, and the music used to use was grating and repetitive. I stopped having my radio on while I worked so I don't need to do use the terrible stock music like I used to, but thank you for the feedback, I'm glad you liked the video otherwise 😊

I don't think I ever seen one down here either, although they do look a lot like an HD /HR Holden in someways.Thanks for sharing your story, $100 is still a bit of coin in the 80's, it was to me.

I know Hot Wheels did a Traveler as a Gasser type dragster in about 2000 / 2001, and I wonder if it could be combined with the new Matchbox Morris to make a stock one, but in my minds eye the Matchbox is a >teeny< bit bigger. I think I have the traveler somewhere, I'll have to dig it out and compare them. I have seen a cheap pull-back Morris Van in 1:43, but I don't think they did a Traveler version.
