I’m not gonna lie. I didn’t realize that was his mom. She looks too young. When I saw that that’s his mom I was in shock. Remind me kind of my dad my dad‘s in his 80s and still working and taking care of his huge property that he owns. He gets around better than I do.
They are outside, in the hot sun, doing a huge favor to someone who should be taking care of the property themselves. Yes, call the cops (not the owner) if you see or hear someone breaking into a house, or loading up bikes, lawn furniture or the like, but this situation is clearly innocent.
I agree with you. We swapped mobile numbers when an elderly neighbour moved next door, but don’t get nosey and just say a civil hello from time to time on the rare occasion I see him about. Not long ago I noticed that although his vehicles were still on the property no lights were going on of the evening, so I messaged to ask if all was okay. Figuring he can only tell me to mind my own business of course, at the worst, of course. Pleased to say he thanked me for the message and said he had to go interstate to care for his mother temporarily. I always sent a message to my neighbours before if I was going away for a time; they parked on my property also so my house still looked occupied. (I also left a light on the kitchen at night the whole time … I know I should have installed a timer switch though).
It's called random acts of kindness and it's really a shame that some people don't understand this concept. I just paid at a gas station today for a lady to get gas so she could get home because her card wouldn't go through.... She was in tears... I didn't expect any money back, I just told her pay it forward and get home safe. Got to love Busy Body neighbors that have nothing better to do. It kind of seemed like the owner of the property didn't want you guys there mowing even though you were doing it for free what's the deal just accept the kindness. I don't know

The guy was grateful that you were cutting his property. Helped him out to get most of it done for him. That he will take on the rest with his new purchase of a bush hog tractor to do the rest of it. He was more worry for your mower to get damaged. Lots of people stopping by to see what you were up to when cutting the grass. Then getting another property to do in the area. Looks great easier to keep up on the future for the owner.

Solid content. Tight knit community, no harm there. Good deeds with good intent is rare these days. The property owner has to worry about being sued or charged some extraordinary fees. Excellent content and you should get paid an advertisement fee for that miracle mower.
Awesome! We've done allllot of properties like this. One bit of friendly advice though? When you're cutting areas like this, since it's just a knockdown anyway, cut so you are always discharging toward already cut area. This way, you're not building up a wind row. With discharging toward the uncut area(s), you now are making the mower not only cut the uncut stuff, bit having to muscle through and push all the mowed stuff, as well. Thus is working way harder and way less productive. You can still go back on every other row for a cleaner cut (like you are doing) but it all lays even, leaves no heavy rows to kill grass, and dries faster in the event that you ARE going to clean it up later. Another thing...piling that much grass, it's easy to cover up rocks, stumps, or pieces of debris that you may not see off to your side. This can cause alot of damage, fast. Good luck! And enjoy! 🙂

Sometimes it's not help. Some people like their overgrown fields. Others know what's under the overgrowth. Still others keep the overgrowth for privacy. Higher land values do NOT benefit landowners who own it outright, the final sales price isn't near that dependent on the value recorded by the county assessor's 9ffice.
That is an amazing transformation... The lawn looks fantastic. You do really good work. I'm guessing that you started with a newly-sharpened mulching blade. That property-owner sure was blessed by your generosity. You are doing God's work. SUGGESTION for the young lady -- Don't wear dark colors (as they attract heat) and get you one of those really good wide-brim straw hats... You will thank me after a hot day of landscaping. Also, wearing a long-sleave, UV protected, breathable shirt will really help keeping you cooler.

My neighbor needs help with her lawn here in KY. Her belt broke on her mower. Single mom of two kids. One just a baby. If anyone does free mowing in northwestern ky -she sure could use the help. I’m disabled and can’t plus don’t want to chance tearing up my dads mower. He’s afraid to do it. Dang shame we can’t send private messages on CZcams anymore. If there is a way someone please comment how and reply back to me. I’m not sure if anyone even uploads free lawn cutting in this area on CZcams. It’s worth asking though. My neighbor needs help with her lawn here in KY. Her belt broke on her mower. Single mom of two kids. One just a baby. If anyone does free mowing in northwestern ky -she sure could use the help. I’m disabled and can’t plus don’t want to chance tearing up my dads mower. He’s afraid to do it. Dang shame we can’t send private messages on CZcams anymore. If there is a way someone please comment how and reply back to me. I’m not sure if anyone even uploads free lawn cutting in this area on CZcams. It’s worth asking though. Never know

Great transformation. Keep on keeping on. One thing though... I watch lawn videos for the sounds of the different equipment being utilized and dislike the music. I hope that (music) is not going to continue.
