you guys need a medium sized yard waste chipper/shredder. Might add a extra step, but makes large cleanups like this easier to remove the tree waste. Most of them can take a 3-4" diameter tree trunk. great vid!!
you prolly dont give a shit but does anybody know a trick to log back into an Instagram account?? I was dumb lost the account password. I would appreciate any assistance you can give me!
Great job. These are my favorite types of job. Good $$$ and unlike regular customers this gives me a feeling of accomplishment and reward of great job an man it looks good. Kudos to pops giving you a hand.
I'm taking care of a job like this on a $1.5M house where the kid's parents didn't think to hire professional yard care for the past 2 years. The amount of weeding through the beds and embankments is ridiculous. It's just myself so after tomorrow I'll be 21 hours into the job and just about finished.
Definitely busted that one out! Nice job! Again I mention, bring a wide light snow shovel to assist with trimmings, trash pick up. Use the rake to gather and shovel to pincer up into a trash bag. Less bending and a lot less chance of getting a cut from debris. Work safe.
There is something immensely satisfying working on a job like that when you get such a great result. Keep up the good work with the lawn care and with the quality videos.
Biggest tip to cut down time ( if the goal is to cut down on time) Ida to use tarps. Lay them down under the trees for the branches. For the long grass just weigh down the tarp end and use the blower and a rake as needed. Less bending, less fatigue, and on grass tarps can be dragged with little year so it is portable. I call them my mulch burritos When they are ready to put into the truck. Plus you can use the first load to line the truck bed do all You have to do Ida pull on the tarp to get the material out. When it is mostly fill just wrap the ends and throw it over the side of the truck! EZPZ! I also use the trash can but only for machines that have a bagger like a push mower. There are cool tarps that are lined with rope too, allowing for you to draw them out and turn the tarp into a giant purse lol Worth looking into sir! I even use tarps to distribute soil during overseeding, dump on the tarp turn hold one side up and pull with smal jerking motions while walking backward -barely have to spread it. Barely any shovelling. Also, wth don't you have a load handler on that truck? They're under $200 and turn your truck into a mono dump truck!
Nothing in the world beats the feeling of accomplishment that one gets wgen you can see what a huge difference your work has made. That’s why I love yard work & clean-up so much.
Great video and fantastic job. I like that before and after contrast when I do overgrown jobs. Your dad is a hard worker.my dad is the same way.he’s 83 and he’s works like a work horse strapped to a freight train.old guys are amazing
Great work as always!! I really enjoy watching you guys work together!! You can’t beat the extra help that you had today! You guys rock!! Take care you two!!
Into the second day of my yard cleanup. Loaded up the dump trailer twice (8 X 14). Going again this Monday because the yard waste plant is going to be open. We will probably going to have another 3 loads when all is said and done. That property looks fantastic. You three worked your hind side off.
Honestly, these are some of my favorite clean ups to do, can accomplish so much in little time and watch a transformation right before my very own eyes, plus the money is really good as well😂 great job on that property man, it’ll be nice to see that property week by week turn into a little manicured home
Bless you and TQ and your dad for what you did! You all did a great job. I too have my own lawn service and did a similar job, but just a back yard, the weeds were almost as tall as me. It took about 3 hours to clear out. Some weeds to thick for weed eater, luckily the ground was soft enough to pull them. and then go over and mow. I wish you could have taken the branches that you cut and leave them on the curb, that is what we do in DFW area. And the city picks up on trash day. Enjoy watching you and TQ! Keep up the good work you do! I am on Facebook. Look up and see my pics of what I have done. It is Carol's Lawn Service! Have a great weekend. Sorry did not mean to go too long on this comment!
About a week now after watch some lawn care channels, I've had the idea of a net of some sort soccer/football goalpost size, you could put infront windows and around cars, I don't think that's hard to make. I'm pitching this on a few lawn care channels, i should take it to my worktable.
That escape is pretty new can’t believe it’s broke down. I’m glad you were able to do something for that customer such a shame what that other company did. TQ definitely has earned her name in one yard alone. Great job!
I have three comments. 1. Gotta love the feeling of good job done, Yard looks good. 2. TQ, I know you are a little short but the Darwin grip might make your job a little easier. 3. My dad and I used to run a tree trimming business, a little advice when loading a pickup with limbs. Always load the butt end(the part of the limb you cut) towards the back glass. That way when you get to the dump. You have one person get into the bed of the truck, they grab the butt end of the limbs at the bottom and the other person slowly drives forward and the limbs slide right out of the truck. We never spent more than 10 minutes at a dump, unless we had heavy logs. Great job . Keep up the good work.
Quick tip..(because I just took on a massive cleanup job and i also asked myself what i had gotten myself into..hahha) i learned if you lay a tarp down first, you can pull all that out at once. I doesnt matter how much you stand on it and pack it, it's fairly easy to pull out. I used and loaded down my 5x10 trailer.
I’ve become a expert so to say at doing this type of work, charge a lot , don’t underbid because they always are more work than you think. If you charge correct they are great money makers.
Property looks great! Bet the owner wouldn’t even recognize it. Helpful tip, if you cut the tree and bush trimmings in smaller pieces it will fit in the truck easier and you can get more in. I also find it comes out of my truck and dump trailer easier.
Hi guys, i am a 15 years old, with my own lawn mowing businesses, my name is LLL which stands for “ Logans Lawn & Landscape” i started when i was10, i mow 16 lawns a week, and bought every thing except the truck, i am not lying, i have a grasshopper 729, big block, a sthil trimmer, sthil 250, and 800 blower, buntion walk behind a billy goat walk behind blower, a 20x15 trailer, and i next few weeks i am going to buy my own 2014 GMC Denali Serria 3500 duramax diesel all of this cost me over 30,000 dollars and i payed for it all with my own money. Keep ind mind that i have been ru I have these types of machines for over 11 years, and people have fired pro lawn mowing companies for me, that means a lot most kids my age think that this is a choice but to me it is a huge stress reliever, good luck on you company and please wish me luck.
Logan this all sounds so great TQ and I want to wish you all the luck in the world...and like we always say keep mowing keep growing keep making money boys!!!
Why didn't the neighbor move their car? A suggestion: for weed trees and saplings, use a battery powered reciprocating saw with carbide pruning blade. You can cut down into the dirt to get the roots. With a chainsaw, the stump will resprout. I do cleanups like this all the time. Very satisfying to see the end result.
Spencer, i had that happen to me, the car was broke down. I threw a blue tarp over it kind of help me with grass clipping. Nice job you guy did, I enjoy the video!👍✌
This would be a good time for that dump truck. You need to get the trailer with a dump bed on it works great put lawnmowers, weedeaters ,blowers and gas with dump bed up front. Back trailer up dump and run.
Except for the high-altitude stuff, you guys still need to investigate how to use a trimmer as a brushcutter. Machine needs straight, solid shaft, hardware to clamp STEEL blade, suitable steel bladeS. This works with my 40+ y.o. Echo, and 11" 4-knife, 12" 3-knife, 10" 80-tooth saw blade, or 9" chainsaw-tooth blade. The latter two would make quick work of the mulberries and such here. With such blades, a 525 (25 cc) Husqy with brushcutter clamping hardware is a BEAST. Then you need a chipper. You stack brush backwards (butt to rear); makes unloading harder. Just FYI.
One of the reasons I have a dump insert in my truck. You can also use a rope laid down in the bed before you load. Pull it up and around the brush, tie it to a tree and drive away.
That was a hard shift I hope it was worth your effort but a great transformation to the property ,plus the neighbours must be delighted too, well done guys 👍
Shawn it does look a lot better I am sure you took either pictures or a video of before and after to send to the person who lives out of town that hired you and TQ to do the job, in another comment you said some of the neighbors had mixed views of it they should be happy that it’s cleaned up on the outside A big Thank you to your dad for helping you and TQ out You all take care and have a good weekend
