One thing that Wolven has over other brands that use recycled materials is that their high-support sports bra is amazing for people who have a larger cup but smaller band size that need more support! This is an aspect of sports bras that I feel like has been neglected by many ethical and sustainability-focused brands, and asides from Wolven the only other brand that does good, supportive bras is Athleta (they’re B-Corp certified) and Outdoor Voices. Just another thing to keep in mind!
At 10:33 - 10:37 you could totally model for them!! Maybe a full video of just your workout and meals. You're looking GREAT! 👍🏼 ™️ I think stands for Trademarked Btw..no video is too long when it comes to you! Your videos are so informative and relaxing to watch.
Omg thank you for saying that haha I'm blushing! And ou that's a good idea I'll plan a video like that soon!! Literally appreciate you always for your kind words 🤎
I wish you made this video sooner because I was looking for sustainable sweat pants and loungewear a few months ago, I saw your post about pangaia so I didn't purchase from them but it was really hard to find ethical and sustainable options. The two UK/EU brands I found were "Named Collective" and "Consciousthelabel"
Aw I wish I did too - wanted to take time to test pieces out and make sure the quality held up!! And I completely agree, it took me months of searching to find ethical/sustainability-minded options! I'll definitely check those two brands out! Hope you were able to find some comfy options x
I just ordered a set for me and one for my daughter from GF Collective. So excited! It’s going to be for Christmas and she’s going to be so excited for me and her to match ❤
Thanks for the hard work you do with your research! I have two young kids and don’t always have the time to research the sustainability of my clothing.
Brilliant video! Since working from home I have been on the look out for sustainable loungewear brands. Would really appreciate a video about sustainable underwear and lingerie. I personally feel like that is the hardest types of garment to shop second hand
Thank you! I've been the same - can't wait for Girlfriend's canadian shipping to resume cause I've been eyeing their sweatsuits forever! And yes agreed - I'm trying out a few underwear/intimate brands right now so will share my thoughts once I live in em for a bit longer x
Sexy sustainable intimates please! I love the low cut body suit but would love a UK based recommendation. Looks great on you! And the video isn't too long btw. I really enjoyed it. A good fix for those tempted to go shopping and reminder to thrift, use what you already have and to shop using my consciousness.
So happy I found your channel! I’m trying to support more ethical and sustainable brands and it’s awesome that you were so descriptive! ❤️ Super minor tip but this would be so helpful for some viewers - but placing the price (even in CAD!) and size would be helpful, and indicating if they have international shipping worldwide would be great, since I’m from the Philippines! :)
Omg yesss that’s a good idea - I should do wish lists for each season! So many things I love but don’t usually buy cause I don’t ~ need ~ them hahaha x
I don't get along with my Girlfriend set at all sadly, but their lounge wear looks soooo cosy. They're still not shipping to the UK though and I'm holding out hope that a local retailer will get stock because I have no idea how much tax I might have to pay if I buy directly. Great video as always Cynthia! 😊
Aw I'm sorry to hear that :( Ya I think their Canada/UK shipping has been on hold for a while - hoping it'll be back soon cause I don't think I paid customs/duties the first time I ordered!! And thank youuu 💛
Aw thank you! And yes it's on my list!! Slowly trying out options (I don't wear a lot of makeup though so it's taking a while haha) and hoping to share once I find ones I love! x
I have a few pieces from Girlfriend and I absolutely love them!! So happy you included them in this video:) Also, do you happen to know if lululemon is a sustainable brand? The research I’ve tried to do on the subject is pretty unclear :/
Girlfriend is the best!! And agreed with Arub - lululemon hasn't really shown any interest in fabrics, production processes, and even the scale of how much they produce (global stores too)
Do you have any recommendations for joggers that are similar to the Beige/tan Pangoia ones? Of course those are the ones I fell in love with (they look thick enough and long enough compared to some joggers that come up for me)
Do you still recommend girlfriend collective as a sustainable active wear brand or not anymore? I’m trying to find an updated review of them to see if they’re still sustainable
Hi Cynthia! Thank you for always putting out such thought provoking content. It really helps to remind us about the bigger picture or in the grand scheme of things. I was wondering what your thoughts are on kotn or frank and oak, if you've ever given any of those brands a shot or do not intend to? I hope you and your family are continuing to stay safe and healthy 💞
Aw thank you for saying that! It's what I strive for so this makes me super happy to hear! I spoke about Kotn in my brands to know part 2! Mixed feelings about frank and oak but haven't looked at them in a while - will maybe touch on them in a future video! Hope you and yours is as well 💛
Hello - I love your content and passion! I own several girlfriend pieces. I am having a hard time finding sustainable brands for tall women. Any suggestions on boyfriend jeans? Thank you so much.
Thank you! And I can only imagine how tough it is! I'm currently learning about unspun.io (they make custom tailored denim so could be a cool option for you)! May do a video with them soon x
thank you so much for this video!! :))) i was wondering, out of all these sports bras which one do you think is the most compressive? im nonbinary and i just wanted to know if there are any in particular that would give me a flatter looking chest. (doesn't have to be a sports bra btw, could be any sort of bra/tank top/etc kind of thing!)
of course! and ou very good question, off the top of my head: - mary young ones are the least compressive so wouldn't reco for this case - girlfriend compressive crop bras (also double as crop tops) I'd say are most compressive - back beat co reversible crop bras I find help squish my lemons in a bit too (comparable to what a sports bra would do for me - but I have a small chest so not sure how compressive they'd be for a larger bust) - I find the hara the label bodysuit/bandeau tops are a more compressive fabric too (similar to back beat co) hope this can help x
I love this sustainable loungewear and activewear video; I’m trying to buy sustainable and ethical fashion and mainly use this type of clothing. Thank you for sharing the importance of supporting black and underrepresented minority artists and business. What size did you order the Artists Untold sweaters in?
@@inspiroue Thank you for responding. I’m excited to receive my ArtistsUntold sweater. I always appreciate you sharing such helpful information about ethical and sustainable fashion. You’ve been a great resource as I educate myself about sustainable fashion and which brands I want to support.
I'm so happy the algorithm recommended your channel, I've discovered so many wonderful sustainable brands thanks to you!
I'm so happy the algorithm is nice to me sometimes haha it's so tricky!! thank you for sticking around 💛

I have a few pieces from Girlfriend and I absolutely love them!! So happy you included them in this video:) Also, do you happen to know if lululemon is a sustainable brand? The research I’ve tried to do on the subject is pretty unclear :/
I don't think lululemon is sustainable and I've heard that the owner is pretty misogynistic as well, so better off buying secondhand.
Girlfriend is the best!! And agreed with Arub - lululemon hasn't really shown any interest in fabrics, production processes, and even the scale of how much they produce (global stores too)
