Geoff Castellucci, the bass of VoicePlay, has many more voices than many people know. He's known for his super smooth bass, but could be a voice actor with all the voices and singing styles he uses.

Shoutout to Geoff's sea witch voice in his narration of the Little Mermaid, because *what the heck was that?* It's very probably some post-production effects, but it's seriously chilling

What a vocal range he has. Have to give major kudos to his vocal coach. He really taught Geoff well.😮🎵
Geoff's vocal coaches gave him some good techniques and basics to start with for singing, which he has applied well. range wise however, that's Geoff's work. he taught himself how to sing tenor, and worked countless hours and years on expanding and developing that range properly. and he has spent years and years of working on his low end. the journey to Geoff's range hasnt been an easy one, and I admire all the work and dedication he put into achieving that range! 💪

Ive listened to some of his readings hes absolutly brilliant his voice in speakingbis more alluring than his dinging he sets the sceans in the stories he reads brilliant

Love these videos... just one request... can you turn the volume on video up a bit
I work in the daytime, and only have night time to record these videos. Due to the type of recording software I use, (I'm old and have trouble figuring out tech stuff, so this is the only way I know how to do it) I can't turn the volume up too much while recording or I'll wake up the neighbors, and I can't use headphones while recording or it won't have sound.
But I'll keep that in mind going forward and will do my best to have the sound as high as I can without waking up the neighbors 😅
It's very hard to chose, want them all. Maybe Queen or Oogie Boogie or......

well, he isn't really voice acting in that video, just acting, and this video was for special voices. i do have plans for another Geoff video where Aint No Sunshine will be in though. its one of my top 3 Geoff songs, so any excuse to put some of it in a video, I will go for 😁
Now what he was doing there in Halo does sound very like Mongolian throat singing, appearing to be two notes sung at once, or is this what some refer to as overtones? Or are they the same thing? I am confused.
Hmm, at what point of that video do you hear Geoff doing that? I just hear him doing regular chest and subs?

@@huldradraco Yes, it's me getting confused. It's in Stranger Things, at 4.47. :) I'd been listening to a Mongolian singer in a clip from The Voice, doing throat singing and shortly after rewatched this compilation and suddently there was Geoff making a very similar sound.
