This one of the most iconic songs ever written and I never get tired of it being played in football stadiums. I still get chills up and down my spine when I hear those first 4 notes blaring through the trumpet because I'ts impossible to Not ((((!!!JUMP AROUND!!!)))

We’ve friends in Madison and on one of our many visits over from the UK we went to a game a Camp Randell, what an experience. Coincidentally against Purdue…… The whole Jump Around experience is a life long memory, and feeling the upper tier stand wobble under my feet will stay long in the memory.

There are some songs that just work really well in an arena: "We Will Rock You," "Pump It Up," and "Jump Around".

The four-note intro was taken from a song by the singing group Bob & Earl called the Harlem Shuffle.

I bet virtually nobody today knows that the opening clip is a sample from a 1960s song called “Harlem Shuffle”.

I think it is fun, but still doesn't beat the more "organic" things that don't need a loud speaker like the best damn band or the Rock Chalk chant.

The four-note intro comes from the song Harlem Shuffle by Bob & Earl. They took it from there.

I’m the one he punched in the face. But I’m not a punk. I tried to be peaceful and when I looked away, he sucker punched me. Guaranteed we meet, he’d recognize me right away. He wrote the song right after that and became a crack addict and had a heart attack. I’m the guy…

What an awesome story. You can see the twinkle in Everlast’s eyes when that song started playing at the game. ☺️
