That seafood restaurant that was on the beach, Rim Talay used to be a great place to go at sunset. Such a shame. The beach used to be busy a few years back, mainly Russians but had a great vibe. Went down a few weeks back and dead. One of the beachfront condos I almost bought into a few years back look almost derelict.
That is a lovely spot, keep walking and you get to the Dusit.
Yeah enjoyed many a nice meal there as well

Hello T, my husband & I have been staying at Wongamat Beach every year for the past 14 years... You should have gone down the other way near The Sanctuary, there are hidden coves & some lovely secluded beach areas.. But let's keep that to ourselves lol.. Thanks for the helpful videos. Im in Thailand for the first time on a solo trip. I decided on Nana plaza. I have been here for a week on a two week stay. What an incredible place. What an incredible experience. I worried about coming solo. I am glad I did. I do want to comment on the silly three day rule. With so many beautiful girls insisting on you attention, Who would fall for just one? Well this guy did. Having a blast!

Hey Trev and everyone, I’ve lived for about a year in Wongamat tower so this whole beach I used to walk all along every single morning, what a great time! Also, during low tide you can actually walk the beach up to Pattaya Beach… great walks!!! Merci Trev

Trev the Space hotel you drove past is stunning inside. We stayed there last year and will return in a few weeks time! The theme is futuristic space. But the hidden treasure is that is has a stunning water park in the back yard! I’ll buzz you up when I’m there and you can do a vlog! It’s a 5 star resort and owned by the same group as Terminal 21!
I went to their Saturday night seafood buffet and it was just average, def. not 5*

Thanks Trev great video, in recent years always stay in Naklua , last August I walked down soi 18 to that beach ,it was beautiful but the walk back up the hill was a killer,pandemic just ending ,no food stalls, no water, no mototaxis , after more than 40 years regular travel to Pattaya,I am no spring chicken,the air cond 711 at the top of the hill was a life saver.

If you go past the big hotels then turn back towards the beach there is a nice restaurant called Surf and Turf, you can view it from the beach very nice place to take a new friend

I loved Terminal 21 shopping centre. I really enjoyed the shopping experience. Wow I did not go past Terminal 21. Next time I will do that and visit Naklua beach. Thanks Trev for showing areas beyond Terminal 21. Amazing views.

I used to stay Naklua road, Soi 18 for my holidays 2009-14. It’s quieter but there’s bar’s restaurants Wongamat beach. Plus it’s on a baht bus route which takes you along Beach road to Walking street.

Great vid as usual. Got me thinking of another video you did on some beach in Pattaya where at one end there was some sort of pier and underneath it was some bar you mentioned with drink coasters that had different colors on the top and bottom, which would indicate whether you were looking for company or not, depending on which color was flipped up? Did you ever make a video on that place?
That's on Beach road here in Pattaya mate and the place is called the Pattaya Beer Garden
If you think about it, we used to carry phones that had a camera. These days we carry cameras that we can make phone calls on 😂

Wong Amat used to be my go to beach 30yrs ago was there last July and they've dug most of it up and elevated the beach higher but made it a lot narrower , used to be great down there great place to meet girls that worked soi 6 on their days off

If you're careful and don't mind scrambling over a few rocks, you can get to Naklua Beach from the north end of Pattaya Beach, just follow the beach around the point at Dusit Thani. A couple of nice little beach bars down that end too.

I like Terminal 21's most nearly all of them. The one at Asok (BKK) is awesome, where else can you eat super affordable food in an air conditioned (cool) food court.

Naklua was hit hard by the pandemic, it has failed to restart whereas the soi B & Walking Street has. You are absolutely right about the LB's, in most cases they are very well educated & really self confident. Most all of them are absolutely harmless.

Pattaya has changed since I first went there in 1991 Ive been to Tiffany s years ago great show Great comment Trevor you think you know Pattaya but it don't know half of it to be honest at least you know more than people been coming for years and they only been to half a doz soi.s

Bangsaen beach is getting ready for a motorcar race...the cars are there the stars are there from all over the world of racing ...the track is set up ..i was there monday and the place was packed already...so if thats your speed i suggest you head over there...thise cars are amazing looking

I was going to stay at the Space hotel since it looks pretty good but I read somewhere that it's not "guest friendly", maybe I'm wrong. I'll stay with the Hilton, 5-stars, great location, Executive Lounge access and it has a mall connected to it. You can also bring as many girls as you want. It is a bit expensive but worth it, I already paid about 10K USD for a one month stay (August) in the Executive Suite with Ocean View, it will be my second time staying there. I still got the "foodpark" card you use at the mall, some of you might know what I'm talking about.

It's a very nice area, i would call it more mature and soft, not really for those who love hanging out in LK metro, but a good alternative 👍

Sad to see Drinking St gone. The tall building you showed at the start isn't Terminal 21 but the hotel adjoining it. It has its pool and leisure area on the roof of the shopping centre.

somewhere along there a few of us 12/14blokes and ladies had xmas day in 2014 along there prawns.lobsters.chips and some curries and gallons of beer,walking back to the Baht busess was a bit hard when we was all pissed,my newest 'wife" really banged me when we got back to hotel,hope she found happiness.

Wongamat is more of a resident area you mentioned that you can get room there but not far after centera it's all residents I own in the riviera ...go play in pattaya but live in wongamat. It's also the nicest area there's hardly any scumbags around there. Bought at the peak of the pandemic up 25% already 👊

Now I know who to blame if Wong a Mat beach gets crowded !!! In the opposite direction to your walk is my holiday condo. Paradise, walk out the condo passed the pool and onto the beach. I say my condo but Khun Jintana might have swapped it for a couple of buffalo it's that long since I been back. Never seen that beach or the roads for that matter so quiet. Naklua was always a favourite with German ex pats. Where have they all gone ?

Well done Trev, another good video. I used to go to this beach about 5 years ago. Where you stopped and came back ladies/ladyboys used to give good cheap service there (300 thb behind the bushes and under tarpaulins). You never mentioned this, has that gone or were you being conservative?

I visited the Naklua Fish Market in March expecting to sit in the park, drink cold Leo's from the nearby 711 whilst my seafood was being cooked and eat under the trees but it was a building site all cordoned off. Not sure what was planned but 3 months later something would be evident.

@@Buzzinpattaya I reckon it will be some form of high rise accommodation Trev. It is a big site as you know. I also remember going to Wong Amat beach (where you filmed) around 20 years ago and it was brilliant. Large thatched roof eating place with many chairs and tables on the beach, a few smaller alternative eating places nearby at other parts of that beach maybe 40 metres away from each other, lots of people walking by selling all sorts of stuff like they used to do along Pattaya beach (clothes, food, trinkets), deckchairs in the sand under trees near the water etc. It was a really nice idyllic spot. And then they built a fence , people cleared out and it became barren. This is well before COVID. Looks like it may be coming back to a much lesser degree.
True a average Thai worker works for peanuts but always have a happy smile on there face

Been there in February '23. Unfortunately very overcrowded on the Sunday. Locals on the beach were quite rude to the farangs. Rather go there in the week.

Regarding that new construction opposite Space: the word is there are foundation problems! So although they started building before Space, it's been in limbo for the last year or so, with no work going on. Dont know if they can fix or not.

Hey Trev I just researched and found out today that Thailand’s 15 day extension was not approved past March so I had to file for the 60 day visa today. Maybe some of your other subscribers are in the same boat.

@@Buzzinpattaya Well I think I just got taken by the Thai embassy for my $40.00 application fee because I have to use the Visa by September 26 even though My arrival date on the application is October 27. Looks like you need to use the Visa within 90 days and I will need to reapply. Sucks that I was unaware that rule.

Seeing you on your bike made me think about motor bike driving licence and insurance. I have a Thai driving licence for a car since early 1990's. But if your on holiday what is the situation when renting a bike. Is a foreign licence OK or is there a temporary licence you can buy from the boys in brown ? Is comprehensive insurance included in the rental?

Hey mate, don't bother getting into Space. Stayed there a few months ago in a Space Suite, definitely not a 5* experience. Full of screaming kids (even at the lobby racing their cars on the floor, etc), aimed for the Chinese market, guests wandering around in robes from the waterpark leaving hallways wet and also ... no alcohol sales anywhere. Food was very average, check out; felt like a herd of cows ... not going there again for sure.
I agree about the Ladyboys, they are so much fun to party with!

i always walk along the beach from pattaya to this beach ,there was a lady or ladyboy never quite sure who used to offer 50 baht bj near the corner about half way ,i did see a youtube video on this ,dont know if its still there or not ,last time i walked past there was still somebody there but i did not get the offer as i was with my thai girlfriend 55555
