    Great one Tim. I'm not a physio I hasten to add but I can 100% endorse this one as someone with totally ####ed L3 and L4. It was a game changer for me. All the best.

    I just had my wife do this for me. Wow!! It really works. My lower back is still somewhat stiff, but I gained quite a bit of range of motion when doing the stretch. I’d say the stiffness went from a 9 to a 5. Also, I got really thirsty afterwards, as if I just had a one hour deep tissue massage.
    Update. It gradually got better a few hours later. I’m going to try again tomorrow

    Had really bad lower back issues for 8 months now, my new physio done something like this yesterday and It felt amazing. Hopefully more sessions and it will really help.

    Is the pressure applied over the lumbar vertebrae (posterior-anterior movement),
    or to the region at the sides of the lumbar vertebrae (avoiding lumbar vertebrae)?

      Vertebrae but over the transverse process

    WIll foam rolling do the job or has it got to be another person???

      Saroja Wickremasinghe should never foam roll the lower back. Only foam roll the thoracic and the glutes. For the lower back use a trigger point / lacrosse ball

    I pulled my lowerback doing deadlift.... Now it's more then a year when ever do exercise for abs like cruches, my lower back muscles gets stiff for 2 days. There was nothing is xray. Guide me pls

    Was diagnosed with Generative disc disease.. Caught the flu and when I cough makes it even worse.. What should I do as this pain is unbearable 😩 😭 😔
