    The Story of Vatsasura
One day, while Krishna and Balarama were playing with Their cowherd friends on the bank of the Yamuna River, a demon named Vatsasura assumed the form of a calf. Vatsasura, envious of Krishna and Balarama and intending to kill Them, mingled with the other calves in an attempt to attack them unnoticed.
Krishna, however, immediately recognized the demon-calf and alerted Balarama. The two brothers silently approached Vatsasura. Krishna swiftly caught hold of the demon-calf by the hind legs and tail, whirled him around with great force, and threw him into a tree. The impact killed Vatsasura instantly, and his lifeless body fell to the ground. Seeing this, Krishna’s cowherd friends cheered and congratulated Him, while the demigods showered flowers from the sky in great satisfaction.
    Bad Qualities (Anarthas) of Vatsasura
Vatsasura's primary bad qualities were envy, deceit, and malice. He harbored deep envy towards Krishna and Balarama, which drove him to disguise himself cunningly as a calf to execute his malicious intentions. His deceitfulness and intent to harm innocent beings highlighted his deeply rooted anarthas.
