I was training with some Canadians when I was in the Army and I took them out and let them shoot my AR and pistols. 9mm and .45. We burned through about 1000 rounds, Well they did. They were having so much fun I didn't want to stop them. They were in the Army and they said I let them shoot more in that day than they got to in 3 years in the Canadian Army.
It might be one of the reasons why you spend more than 30 times the money that Canada spends on military ($600 BN vs $18 BN)

@@SilentAndy Well I wouldn't say needing a gun to defend yourself is being a coward. If you are actually defending yourself you want the best tool or advantage you can have. And in most cases that is a gun. Pepper spray, tasers, knives and bare hands range from not that effective to not effective at all depending on what and who you are defending against. I have seen plenty of people completely unphased by all of them before. You could argue that the chances of you ever needing one are pretty slim though depending on where you live. And I would accept that arguement. That is why I don't conceal carry. Then again you could say you really don't need a jack and spare tire in your car either because you will probably never get a flat. I still like to have one anyway.

well no one will ever try to open a gun safe with a gun its too loud and costly plus why rob guns if you already have them. (unless you're selling the stolen guns). To open a gun safe you use saws, drills, crowbar other tools to force the safe open and its quieter.

Why don't you shoot the sides? The sides are usually weaker / less reinforced than the door.
He wants to get inside so you have to knock out the door only holding by 14 points (+2 hinges) instead of basically cutting an entire square out of the side which would take hundreds of well placed bullets
Most of those fireproof gun safes have the side walls filled with concrete. That's how they protect what's inside from fire and why most fireproof safes are so heavy. So from the sides you have to go through two layers of steel and some thick concrete.
Bingo. If he really wanted to get into the safe he would just hit the keypad/locking mechanism.
Actually, the door is usually the hardest place to try to enter. The front has the same insulation as the sides and back, plus the locking mechanism.
But the sides and back often (I don't know about Liberty in particular) are weaker (less metal).
Grinders are not very expensive at Harbor Freight.

Yeh, it would depend on material the safe is made from.. I guess the bars would prove difficult, they're hardest, maybe. Outside is most likely less quality steel, looks kinda flimsy to me for some reason (probably professional deformation since I work with metals for some time)

for anyone who hasnt shot a gun before, this guy has massive balls for taking his first shot with a .50 BMG. and then a 500 S&W (one of, or the most powerful pistol in the world.) they both have a lot more kick than people realize. boggest gun ive shot is a 300 winchester mag, and i thought it was bad... its only like a 200 grain bullet.
