That old Black Mack super liner, I drove the truck. For a while kind of kills me to see it sitting in the junkyard. That’s the only truck I ever driven with no front brakes on the steering axle. It came that way from the factory so I was told. She was a workhorse. I pulled a low boy with it with some pretty big equipment on it
Man, that East coast rust is relentless- can't help but wonder what's going to become of this stuff that's eaten up beyond repair. All those awesome Macks with their Minnesota Mag wheels and their Bulldogs still standing proud...
Amazing rigs there, I only wish I had the money to burn for em Edit: it’s incredible to see and feel the stories told by these old girls, stories of a bygone era. Incredible video man.
Clicked a picture of the Mack at Macungie in 2018. The window card listed it as a 1938 CH model but without the data tag telling a CH/CJ from an EB/EC is about impossible.
That blue cabover probably has seen alot of lot lizards. Beautiful old mack trucks. Those 2 macks are ready to work. 5:39 Good prices at this auction. Thanks 4 showing us.
I owned the only 85U mack fire truck which had the same cab as that garbage truck but was a soft top. It’s very hard to find old garbage trucks hope that gets restored!
Even though it probably can never be commercially used again it would be great to see that old Mack put back into decent condition just for it's historical value. What was the story on that old GMC that you passed by without showing us?
The first truck is probably an EB or EC Mack is you noted. Look on the right frame rail behind the front tire, it should say EB----- . The Model and serial number are stamped in the frame. The EB and EC were one of the few Mack's that had suicide doors. I suppose it is too late to check since the truck is sold and gone, but ...
That b model winch trk could pull ship out of the water dang should have been in that movie yrs ago with semi with clown face what was it max overdrive heck lol
Is it actually called a COE, or are you just calling it a cab over? I saw a brand new autocar garbage truck that was a COE, so they still do produce cab overs.
@@christhompson4950 Yes, COE Cab over Engine. Yes they still make them but only for Municapality/City. Such as Garbage trucks. I think back in 2021 they Reviled their "Updated" design of the On road trucks. but i think it was a Limited amount produced.
I think the owner of the scrap yard picked up many of the pieces over the years. Probably saved many of them from being cut up years ago. He decided it was time to thin the heard.

That is a White Autocar circa 1937-40, my father drove one for the city of Cleveland, a short time back then.
They may be in rough shape, but they're still cool to see! Love them Mack trucks. Thank you for sharing with us.

That could be an early Autocar COE . Those had the suicide doors.
I was thinking the same thing that it was Autocar....

They just need someone to fall in love with'em...the prices were more than fair!
Thanks, that was fun!
Great show, lots of prime old gold. In rust we lust. Peace

Okay I was wrong, it's an old Mack. Not much styling difference between those back in the day
They all might have bought cabs from one vendor.
@@thomasdragosr.841 very true

After it was a fire truck a guy that owned a wedding venue would use it to ferry guests around the property.

I wonder if that gmc fire truck is a 702 V12
Rusted COE is a Autocar U model, I believe.
Check again,I think you will find it is a Mack. The model U Autocar was even Ugly er than this.😮
Those trucks and tuff men built America
How do you find these auctions? I’ve bookmarked A&A Truck Parts now.
I follow my local auction companies and then branch out from there.

That B81 wrecker is a monster

That rusty garbage truck looks like a British Bedford.
Where was this?!
Damn! Scrap prices on some of these honeys! The Dodge boom 4x4 looked like an old Bell truck.
A truck like that brought milk to our house as a kid. Pretty cool.
Haven’t made the 300 series Brockway since 74-75
My first dump truck was 57b model had 160cummins
When I was a kid we got our milk from the Sealtest man and bread from the Dugan Bakery. They both came through the neighborhood in their Divco trucks
Cool old truck😁. Something should be done to save that . M.T.❤😁
Thank god I don’t live in your country because I would be broke from buying trucks at these auctions.
I should really start buying a few.
It almost looks like a brockway?
That b model winch trk could pull ship out of the water dang should have been in that movie yrs ago with semi with clown face what was it max overdrive heck lol
Man, I would have had a problem there, I would have drug home every vintage truck I could!!
Steel dash on the R or U was 72 or older
My first guess was Autocar
A foden??
I like it, it looks rough and dirty and brutal!
autocar
U truck serie
thinking the same, Autocar
Autocar COE, the only one they ever made to my knowledge. Wonder what they'd look like if they kept going thru the 60-70-80s.

@Shyguy4664 oh ok
Was this all one person’s collection or did someone clear out a business?
I think the owner of the scrap yard picked up many of the pieces over the years. Probably saved many of them from being cut up years ago. He decided it was time to thin the heard.
Ps it could also be an e model
Why did you skip over the fire truck?
Sorry, there were other people standing around and I got sidetracked. I did talk to they guy who used to drive it for some sort of wedding venue.
Reminds me of the Creeper's Truck. XD
0:53
The former driver had really bad flatulences....
😅
The garbage truck is a early 1930s International
Look on the door frame
They have all those car restoration shows, so why not do one or two dedicated to old school trucks and heavy equipment?🤔
1:52 that looks like a bedfort or a leyland
2:45 - oh no! One of Orwell's kin! She's in in rough shape! Hope her new owner can restore her to mint condition!
The truck is a Laterno yes spelled wrbut thank technology for that
