I can't believe how many people are dragging for accidentally mis spelling mousse. It happens.
You knew what she meant and you're still enjoying the content she put together for you. When there is already comments correcting people will still go out of their way to have a pop about it.
    Its just unnecessary and rude.

Yup! Whenever I wanna straighten my hair, I run my fingers through my hair with conditioner to detangle it and I don’t scrunch it. After it’s dry, my hair is somewhat less curly and little more on the straighter side. This helps me whenever I wanna blow dry it.

    *TIP*
I have pretty wavy, almost curly hair, and I use a mousse like this every time after I shower, but the trick to it that I find very helpful is to flip my hair over, and scrunch the product in all at once. This allows me to evenly spread it while also coaxing the curls to form nicely. Then i flip my head back over and lean to each side to scrunch it more. Hope this helps!

I have something u should definetly try.
I am doing the curly girl method for 2.5 years now. More or less. I only use the "health" things and only use stylers on special ocasions, because i am way to lazy. So my goal is to make my hair look good only with a leave in and such.
And a year ago i bought an aloe vera, because everyone said it was so good.
So i bought one and let it grow for a year. Last week i first tried it. I took the gel of a leave blended it with a teaspoon of coconut oil, and used it after shampooing as a hair mask for about an hour. And than i rinsed it out with warm water.
And my hair was sooo shiny, bouncy, had a little bit of hold despite having no styler or what ever that could give hold, litterally so little frizz etc.
It was amazing i never had these results without gel or something, and even with gel i would have considered this as a really good hair day.
So i tried it yesterday again. And its the same. So good. I woke up Today run my fingers through my hair to detangle it a bit, and it looks really okay. Of course nothing like a refresh with a bit of water and leave in. But for doing nothing to my hair its more that i ever dared to ask for.
So its definetly worth a try.

I, like you, have given up with the CGM on my waves because I never feel put together but on days when I just want to let it air dry, that gave me my favourite results. I'd tried so many different products but that combo worked best for me.

Also, heres a tip, you can mix products, when I went to Paul Mitchell we used to put the mousse, with a touch of serum, literally a drop or two and small pea size of gel, then emulsify it in out hands, ones its all combined start at the ends then work up to the mid shaft and roots , so next time if youre feeling upto it, try it that way? hii Isabella :) you should try the overnight curls with the bathrobe belt method. I have very similar frizz and hair texture now as you do and this method gives me beautiful curls until the next wash. Just remember not to pull it in the beginning at the top of your hair/near to the roots, because you will end up with weird hair.. if you start loose and than later tight it a bit more, create a bun, secure with a hair tie and sleep on it, the results are much better. I do this method once in a while and I am really satisfied. you can find a lot of videos here on yt. good luck! :)

I've noticed that we have a very similar hair type so I want to tell you a few things that work for me! Use lightweight styling products, apply right after a shower (like when I do it I'm literally still in the shower) on soaking was hair, then just scrunch it in until you get rid of most of the excess water. I've also noticed that brushing your conditioner through before rinsing helps a lot with frizz. I use the tangle teezer. To keep definition I plop my hair in a t-shirt (I do it in a way where it's pushing my hair up to my head as if it were scrunching it). I also really like the brands verb, not your mothers, and Eva nyc :) hope this helps someone!

so I'm a 3a-3c texture and I've tried MANY methods. these days I use a combo of a curl crème and a mousse. in the morning when I wake I soak my hair in water, then (depending on hair type with waves use a small amount to much could weigh the hair down and make it appear greasy) apply through the hair focusing on the ends (because that's where frizz usually is the most common) doing a scrunching motion with a towel/shirt and drying it that way. I apply mouse once its no longer dripping but I still have water through out the hair. I do the scrunching with the towel then my fingers because the towel can make it frizzy. I also through my head over to scrunch and apply the products so that it helps create volume.
(I'm not a professional but I'm sharing what I find works best FOR ME everyone has different hair types so if it doesn't work for you don't be discouraged keep searching. If the mousse doesn't work still try your gel when I use the gel I apply directly after wetting the hair then scrunch with a towel. Also try hair masks those are good and many exist for what problems you have)

    Can i suggest you something:
So im also doing the CGM ive been doing it since december of 2019,I sometime hate my curly hair and now i had a bad cut and i hate it so what i do i would suggest you also:Wash your hair in the afternoon only with shampoo no conditioner or gel or nothing get out of the shower and brush it then take some conditioner just a little and apply it on your hair but not in your roots, then apply moose on your hair not on your roots, and then braid your hair on the back of your head,Iike start from the back of your neck not from your top of the head, when youre done doing that just go do what you have to do sleep over night with the braid and then in the morning take the braind out and you will have these non frisy waves,Im not saying you hate your curls(I aint callong them waves cause its the same)or anything but sometime i dont like how it looks
This whole process is done when right out of the shower with wet hair then it dries over night

I think we have sorta the sam hairtype, and my hair gets stringy like that from mousse if I apply it in damp hair rather then soaking wet. If i use it on wet hair I get much better results! I also like the combination gel, mousse, gel :)

I have very curly hair naturally and I use a leave in conditioner. I have just recently tried putting extra virgin olive oil to seal the leave in conditioner in. That had been working amazingly and had my hair so shinny. I feel like it's very normal( atleast for me) for curly hair to lose its curls after 3 days or so usually I would just carefully comb it out and wear it in a bun or different styles until it's my next wash day. I recommend that when your putting products in... have that hair wet like realy wet like almost dripping. That will give you the best results. If your hair if even only a lil dry the hair will not curl as defined as it would if it was realy wet. I recomend you use a leave in conditioner to help with frizz and reapply when you see its fizzing up agin. Afterall I suffer with bad frizz aswell because I live in a extremely hot country. Hope this helps anyone who were looking for advise.

So glad you keep going with the hair videos. You brought me onto the curly girl method and it's been a fun journey. Would love to see you style your hair soaking wet. I find it helps me a lot to get nicer, defined curls/waves with less frizz. Also did you know about Glycerin in hair products and how it can dry your hair or hydrate it depending on the dew point in your area?
Also have you tried to scrunch in a moisturizing cream (I use the one from Boucleme) or (leave-in) conditioner (Jessicurl glycerin free Deep Conditioner is what I use) to help with day 3/4 frizz hair?
And another product I woulf suggest: Orange Marmelade gel from Ecoslay. Super mosturizing and some people say super strong hold.

Loving that you still do this from time to time, like myself ^^
I do feel like you need to scrunch longer and softer, with bigger sections of hair and more up, close to the root. Right now, you're more flippy-di-flopping your hair

I feel like we have similar hair and I use mousse on a daily basis and my tip would be to not rake it trough because I feel like that really weighs it down. Try just using it scrunching and upside down. Also moisturize your before applying the mousse cause it tends to dry the hair so it helps a lot! Hope you se this and try it❤️

How would you moisturize it? And if your. It raking it through hair how to tou distribute the product in your hair? Ive never really learned how to apply products to my hair, and until this moment i didnt realize it helps to apply to wet/damo hair. Silly question at the end of each night would you comb/brush through the hair if you wanted to recreate the style tomorrow??

@@Amanda1234000 I always apply a leave-in conditioner before applying the mousse so it’s moisturized and I think that you just want to give your hair shape so raking it trough just weighs it down. Weirdly at the end of the day mousse seems to come out of your hair by itself if that makes sense, but I rinse and condition it everyday in the shower anyways!

I also have a thin wavy 2A hair type (similar to you). When I want to style my hair quick I just towel dry the hair after the shower and then scrunch in quite a lot of foam. The hair should feel kinda wet with product. Then I just let it air dry and it looks voluminous and wavy by the end. I love that it is easy and don't mind that the hold is less than with a gel.

All natural, free of silicones. 😻😻😻

Your hair looks really good! Not sure if you have tried it already, but try applying the mousse onto wet hair, then blow dry with scrunching motion with your hands, after it's dried, you could even use a round brush with the heat from blow dryer to curl it even more. But applying the mousse onto wet hair is key, at least from my experience.

I hope this gets to you. Since i have the same hair type as you . I recommend putting the mousse in your hair while it is soaking wet !! So comb it and then put the mouse in your hair and then put it in the tshirt to soak up some of the water then after 10 or 20 mins . Let it air dry but DO NOT touch it. Then it usually looks nice .

I suggest scrunching mousse in when you're hair is a bit more wet! (not soaking, but still wet) and combining it with gel or another product. For myself, I love the effect mousse gives but I find it doesn't give enough hold/definition on it's own. For me it works best when I combine it with a gel, but if your hair is on a drier side it might help to use a cream first :)

Try to use a light leave in conditioner just on the ends of your hair before the mousse. It will help you out because the leave in conditioner is gonna bring you some sort of treatment/hydration and the mousse is gonna give you the wave definition you need and the hair is not going to feel weird in your day after.
The best one for me is Moisture Kick from Schwarzkopf! Very hydrating, hair feels really soft and shiny, protects from heat/sun and is not greasy. It feels like you just aplied a deep conditioning hair mask.

Mine also looks (like you have said in one of your previous videos) like heat damaged despite I have NEVER used iron nor curling wand and I rarely blow dry it, also no bleach or hair dye. Recently I tried agar hair gel, it's another homemade gel like flaxseed and that is the first product that managed to tame my hair at least a little bit - less frizz and it looks shinier. Maybe you can also give it a try, I think it could work, since we have really similiar hair (at least it looks VERY similiar) :) Thanks for your hair content, I like your videos a lot and I appreciate the effort you put into them!
