I like your idea, of wrapping rope around the bunny head. This bunny is darling. I have been doing this, with other shapes, from Dollar tree, including their hearts, and the basket they sell. I just did it with the large easter eggs, they sell. But what I do is, I actually wrap crochet thread around the shapes. Those little knobs, really help hold it together. When I am finished, Then I brush white glue with water on the shapes to stiffen them. Sometimes, while the glue is wet, I add glitter. And I Add ribbon, I wish I could show you a photo, but they have really turned out cute. Thanks for this great idea, you really take it a lot further.

I absolutely love your basket and that sweet bunny too. I think the bow adds to the basket rather than detracts from it. It breaks up the pink a bit.
