So many features. A tiny display would have helped to configure the settings much easier.

I second this. This is the silliest UX I have ever seen, and there is no other way to control the device. This could be as well BTR6 with addition of app support, little screen etc. First go blue then this. They are trying so hard to create meaningless categories.

Hi, again......Any recommendations on usb-c hubs, docks or devices that allow me to charge my cell phone or tablet at the same time that I connect the Ifi Go Bar?

Finally I bought a usb c hub, with 4 usb c sockets for data and a usb c socket PD... And the operation of Ifi Go Bar through the hub, while charging the cell phone, is correct, using UAPP , Ifi Go Bar shows identical audio quality indicators and I don't feel differences with using Ifi Go Bar connected directly to the cell phone, at least appreciable directly, in the sound of the audios.

I want to stream MQA tracks from Tidal through my android 12 phone. Since the Go Link is not available yet. May have to settle for the Go Bar for now. It should be able to decode MQA through my phones type c USB? Also does the Go Bar come with the type c to c cable?

I am using with a Sennheiser HD800 300 Ohms, it has power to listen at a comfortable level. The sound quality is excelent, but... mine came damaged, I have the Go Link (my first ifi purchase and it is amazing) and the power of the Bar is less than half the Link's output. Clearly my Bar is malfunctioning, sometimes when I turn it on it reaches super loud levels and others very low (capable of listening only on the balanced output). I received it two days ago and the seller isn't accepting return or repair and I didn't get any answer from ifi Support.

Hi there - we're sorry to hear you encountered some difficulties with your GO bar. As a quick suggestion, we'd ask you to check whether the built-in iEMatch feature had been turned on by accident? This feature attenuates output to reduce hiss in sensitive IEMs, and can give the impression of overall reduced output volume.
Regarding iFi support, if you did not do so already, we would ask that you raise a support ticket through support.ifi-audio.com - responses can take up to 48 hours, and occasionally a little longer over weekends or busier periods, but as long as they have received your support ticket OK, they will definitely get back in touch with you 🙂

Volume sync is not working with my android phone, Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. It works perfectly with Gryphon, But with Go Bar(v1.70) i cannot control the vol of Go Bar from the phone, I can see that the vol of the phone is somewhat changes after i replug, But they are not synced properly so controling the vol of the phone does not effect any and the vol of Go Bar still remains at 30 so i still manually press the button on the side of it to vol up. Someone from a community website said that after replug it down the vol of the phone to zero then the sync works but i couldn't make it work with mine and other two devices, all have firmware up to date to 1.70. Hope it's an error and will be fixed with future firmware update.

hm, i just found it works flawless on WIndows(with USB driver installed), but still does not on other Android devices, so my guess it's an error.

@@iFiaudiochannel Good at 50%, it seems that using only Tidal, with HIFI account, the DAC correctly shows the MQA decoding, magenta led, but if I use USB Audio Player Pro, with MQA plugin, and listen to the same tracks, from Tidal through UAPP, does not indicate the same...
UAPP developer says it's Ifi's fault, Ifi says it's UAPP's fault...

@@iFiaudiochannel Hello again, sorry for the delay, for work reasons I have been traveling...
I deleted data from the application and reinstalled again, and it continues to do the same, I would like you to clarify, why the magenta led, and why it only lights up when running Tidal, you should also tell your support managers, that when a client make a query for your product, don't just say, "use Tidal, instead of UAPP", and then on the other hand, tell me if I have reset the application settings, that creates a bad perception towards you. .................. Leaving this little controversy aside, I have to say that even so, the Go Bar is a magnificent product, which really amplifies the sound on cell phones, and it sounds spectacular........Although I also have a small criticism... The color chosen for the texts of the quality and ratio indicators is not the most suitable... in my unit, they are indistinguishable with the color of the device.

    • @iFiaudiochannel

Hi there! The GO bar should be able to connect to both of those devices with no issues! We would advise ensuring that any iOS devices you connect have a good charge on them, as Apple devices can be quite picky about connecting to external accessories that require power if they have a low battery. Hope this helps! 🙂

I also have the Cobalt which having tried the HIDIZS S9 PRO as reviewed by Amir on ASR -he said the S9 was far superior to-I ordered on Amazon and basically I wouldn’t pay £20 for-complete rubbish no better than my iPhone which is appalling . Ordered the Go Bar today and see how it compares to the Cobalt which to be fair is fairly old technology but be interesting.

Sorry to disagree but I’ve tried everything from the 3 Audioquest dongles to more recently the Hidizs S9 Pro which was terrible, the Go Bar is light years ahead of all of them. I had the Cobalt which was ok but compared to this it’s not even close. I use it with Sennheiser IE800’s with Snug custom ear mouldings. Ironically just bought a Astell & Kern SR25 DAP & virtually same sound quality for 50% less. For the money this is a bargain depending on budget.
