Darklord Despia * New Update * Epurrely Noir | Decklist Combo Testing | Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel

- Epurrely Noir is finally here!!! I put together this initial rough draft decklist where I experiment with trying to learn new combo lines and interesting interactions. You'll see some strange plays where I'm still figuring out what moves I can make as the purrely cards provide much more room for extending plays which would lead to me often running low on time causing me to rush or cut plays short, yet other times, I would misplay/misclick by either not attaching or attaching cards for no reason lol
The coolest interaction I found was using Epurrely Noir to bounce back to your hand the Darklord monster summoned by Indulged to the opponents field then being able to use to mainly to draw two with Ixchel or just gain more hand advantage.
The deck has a lot of strong potential with this new addition as it greatly increases the draw power and disruption ability when combined with Purrelyeap going into Expurrely Noir. I did try the new trap Purrely Sharely which was decent but cut it to play the Darklord Uprising Trap which I found to be more useful at times to search out when I didn't have access to the other fusion spells. I will be trying to cut the deck down more to 40 cards, if possible, probably by just focusing on Noir and taking out the extra unnecessary purrely cards (even though it feels fine as is). Also, I often found myself wanting to go into more variety of link options. It has been difficult deciding which route to go with for the extra deck
Replays are not all necessarily top tier highlights but just my own showcase and experience of wins using this decklist and what decks I've encountered/faced-off against during the current meta season in ranked ladder duels and events

Great replay man. The cyber dragon player didn't expect underworld goddesses to be summon. He thought he boss monster was the shit.
Definitely and I also think my opponents was probably confused at some of the weird plays I was making getting to Goddess lol That's why I keep her in most of my decklist now for these random situations and consider her an honorary Darklord boss monster until we get more😎

Cool version! Purrley help you draw more cards, since with Darklord you are almost always with few cards in hands after fusion summoning. Btw, soon there will be a fusion/synchro/xyz only event (you choose which "faction" to be in). Do you think you'll upload a dedicates Darklord Despia decklist?
Definitely, that little bit of extra draw power does help out a lot! Yes, I'll be doing some for the event and will most likely be using the Darklord Despia with super poly and Branded Darklord

It would most likely be similar while adjusting it to that banlist, but I would have to see still since I have multiple ideas on how this deck could be played 😅

I was actually thinking of how much better or maybe even purrfect if all the purrely monsters were dark fairy. Such a missed opportunity that could have been The First Darklord and his pet minions lol

I've been trying to cook with Purrely Tearlaments but this might be next on the list of shit to try for me, deck looks mad fun.

How is the consistency looking from your testing so far?
So far, the only consistency issue I found was sometimes not being able to get to a fusion card to bring out The First Darklord, but even then, the purrely cards give you a lot more options to extend into making other plays and drawing more cards for follow up. I'm still debating on how I'm going to get it closer to 40 cards and also on possible alternate Extra Deck links like Dharc, Azalea, Avramax and Accesscode

You were wondering what to cut, therfore I should ask you the question: what about cutting the purrely cards? two times the continous spell seems a correct ratio (in case of destruction), but I do wonder if the quickspells could not be cut each to two , I think.
Purelly being a light fairy, wouldn't it better to have it at 1?
Also, really a wonder sonce the last time: why master hyprion? Personally I would have put Loagaeth, much more useful in my opinion. The link agent is a viable choice to deal with skil drain (basically the only one that can deal with it I think), but I simply don't understand the hyperion.
Also, about the fusion earthbound spell... It's a quick-spell, but considering you don't use it as much as such, wouldn't a greater polymerisation be better to protect the First darklord even more stronger?

Actually, it is like you read my mind on what I was thinking of and some of the ratios I was considering changing. I did update the list and got it a bit lower to 43 cards, so I'll be testing that soon to see how it does.
I do really like loageth as an option and will consider adding her back in. As for greater poly, I might test cutting one of the theater field spell for it instead.
The reason for hyperion is because it is just a potential extra special summon after using moons effect, which can lead to rank 8 dingirsu play if needed for more removal and protection. Also, I like the second effect of being able to reflect damage taken by any fairy. I actually had a play in one of the matches where I could have showcased it but didn't since I was very low on time 😅 I was going to attack with The First Darklord then tribute him to summon Despia Comedy in attack position to attack into another monster which would reflect damage taken (cause of hyperion) while in the process get destroyed by battle thus triggering the field spell to resummon The First Darklord to attack again
@@avengedchaos7 That's a combo I didn't even know would be possible here XD. Although to be honest, I am still quite interrogative of it, as it would be quite difficulte to set up imo. considering it requires the moon, which can be tricky to make in some situation. The banishing effect it neat, too. That's a quick effect, right?
I do admit I'm not a fan of Dingirsu, but that's my personal opinion.
I do wonder if Masterflare Hyperion could be useful , tho, even if yeah, synchro is... quite tricky with this one.
i am impatient to see the updated list! Also, is it me, or you don't play handtraps in general? Quite surprising, considering the meta.
There are actually quite a bit of interesting combos I've been finding and experimenting with, even though they are gimmicky half the time, but fun to pull off lol
No it's not, I wish the banishing special summon was quick effect and I have been looking into a different decklist including Masterflare Hyperion plays that I'm working on 😎
I rarely use handtrap and mostly try to play using all engine unless the handtraps are dark fairy like dark honest or if I feel they have some potential synergy.

They have some pretty good synergy, mostly cause of Noir being dark fairy lol
