About Chandragiri variety Chandragiri is a new arabica coffee (Coffea arabica) cultivar developed from the cross between Villla Sarchi and Hibrido de Timor, and released for cultivation in India on 28 December 2007. This cultivar produces plants with drooping branches covering the entire main stem.

Hi @Nithin, in this video I see there are no much shade trees.
Will coffee grow in hot sun without partial shade?
Will the not burnout since they are young?

Good observation, yes in indian coffee needs shade plants but as we have put coconut in middle we can't put very height trees. We have put some young shades trees which I will cover in next video. Also we do water sprinkling every other day.

Age of the plant here is 6 to 8 months.. it can be 2 years too..
