Bad boyz inna England......UK Apache was MASSIVE! Probably one of the 1st muslim mainstream stars growing up
Big him up, his a good brother Ma’sha’allah. May Allah grant him goodness Ameen
The legend UK Apache
Good interview, this brother killed it back in the day, his tune was massive and was competing with the American and Jamaican artist. Had to be there to appreciate it, if he carried on would have been up there with the best. Really genuine and good guy. 🙏
Imam Shakeel and Apache are spot on about racism 💯.
Great episode as usual. May Allaah bless you all. Ameen
A’ameen
Came here from DJ Ron's podcast (as a former Raggamuffin Junglist). I was going to suggest bringing Abdul Wahab on here.
Musa/Rodney sounds like such a blessing for Apachi. May Allah preserve them all. Apachi and Musa should have their own podcast, that would ace for the 80s/90s people.
UK apache is a talented man MAY Allah guide him to his blessings ameen.
Brother is a legend
I'm an 80s child .. rough time for ethnics .. a very segregated time unfortunately even in my high school England vs pakistan while playing football or cricket lol .. but racism was very open, even policemen would call you #aki, lots of trauma from the younger years unfortunately
Just cause your black doesn’t mean you can’t be racist, go do your research on the Nation of Islam, Black Israelites and etc
He's not educated that's what it is. When you get people like this doing interviews people can get offended. He doesn't know what racism is and speaking on racism. He's very narrow minded and need to be educated

I grew up in the same sort of era and can still remember the blacks attacking Asians ! Which seems totally crazy now !
Sir was that 1970s? And were the blacks mixed with whites or by themselves?
@@southlondon86 even then you had white women with blacks and Asians ! Plenty of milk chocolate babies even back then :)
@@shsh-he5qg No I meant the gangs that attacked Asians: were they white and black together?
@@southlondon86 oh no, the whites were never with blacks and Asians ! That was the bnp days ! Proper white racism

The middle brother , was wrong , if Apache said he faced racism it was not right for the middle brother to say and change his words , ( i would say young bucks got a lot to learn , when the older brother on the right even corrected him , he should have learned but chose ignorance still after the brother guided him , he still chose to use prejudice ya know , grow the narrow mind mu brother , i grew up in hackney , i know exactly what hes talking about , plus i grew similar times to him listening to his track back then )
Middle brother smh!
Somalian brother gotta chill. He is RUDE and he POKED up the Imam to stop him from getting in a word sideways. Bruvvv 😂
I'm offended that guy can just easily say the P word like that he should refrain
He lived through it and got called it growing up he can say what he wants
I'm not offended at all. He's a Muslim and I know he's not saying it in a derogatory way. He's just telling it as it is. Thats exactly what he faced.
