Deck is a spicy one
It’s the best restriction for deck building, so many old staples are less than 50 cents.

Can't wait for the Kamigawa precon upgrade videos! You guys are always my first resource when jumping into an upgrade (and the follow up articles are a joy as well Beezy!)
Before even finishing the video, I just want to say, this deck is going to be RAD! Recently my favorite decks to build are the uncommon Commander Legends partnered with the busted two-color partners... so many unexplored archetypes and pairings but a reasonable power level.
They are really balanced
Best techdeck so far! Building on a budget is just more interesting than without restrictions.
Budget decks are super fun
I really think Myr Battlesphere would be a great budget creature in this deck. With a potential discounted casting cost and the ability to recur it from the graveyard, adding 5 artifacts into play right before attack phase could be a great way to defeat a major creature threat. Thanks for the video, Nerds!

this is a deck i've had on my shortlist for a while, for if/when i join a playgroup

This was super fun to watch. Love the deck techs, you guys are the pinnacle of deckbuilding. So tempted to build it now, looks like a blast to play! More budget coolness please!
Clock of Omens would be great in this deck; you can tap treasures, clues, equipment, or blood to untap your artifact lands or mana rocks without sacrificing the tokens, or to reuse manifold key / key to the city for more unblockable creatures, or to untap creatures. Little out of budget but still under $2.

Glad to see Akiri line slinger getting some love. Some friends and I gave each other a challenge: You get 3 rolls on random partner commanders, and 3 rolls of 3 normal commanders. Choose one, and make a 50 euro deck. I got Akiri line slineger and jeska thrice reborn. Pump akiri with artifacts. Give her trample or make her unblockable. Use Jeska's face dmg is now x3, and ask who doesn't want to die this turn. It is such a fun deck, and I can't belive I got them from random commanders!

Hmm.. interesting idea, flood the board with artifacts and have the payoffs for it.. I was looking at WU artifacts because of the new precon - Losheel, Clockwork Scholar for that damage preventions seems solid (and the passive card draw)
Cool deck. Y'all inspired me so I made an account on Moxfield and posted my Akiri and Tevesh Szat deck by MammothTheGathering if anyone is interested. I think CZcams removed my URL link, oh well. I originally got the idea for this deck from Jumbo Commander but found I ran out of juice with Tymna so I traded them for Tevesh Szat and the deck works way better. Very flexible deck, you can win with early Voltron, or late game Combo or just Go Wide with tokens. Apply early pressure with Akiri and late game pressure with Tevesh and make it your personal achievement/mini game to steal all commanders! Love and be kind fellow nerds :P
Maybe Alibou can go in the deck? She’s fun and grants haste. Also Robe of Stars is good if you plan to Voltron in my opinion.
Painful Truths is so good. Funny interaction with cards like this (including Engineered Explosives): if there’s a tax effect and you have the ability to pay with an additional color, you get the extra card/counter/etc.

Digsite engineer is an insane card! There aren't that many ways to create those guys and this guy is the only one that isn't a PW (normally pooppy on EDH) or an incredibly expensive card.
When Joe says there're quite a few ways to create Karnstructs in the format I could only think about Urza, Urza's Saga and Karn itself other than the Engineer... Am I missing/forgeting something?

I love doing 3 color partners! I have a Vial smasher/ Eligeth crossroads augur storm deck that is soooo fun

Cleansing wildfire would be good ramp/draw in this deck as you can target a bridge which wont die, ramp one and draw!
Mechtitan Core is only 50 cents and will be the most fun you’ve ever had sacrificing some Servos and myrs.
GUY!!!!! take a loot at Isshin, the new mardu Attack harmonicon spoiler from neon dynasty....its a good reason to run the three titans in mardu colors...A REASON TO PLAY GRAVE TITAN!!!!! you should do a quickfire video on how you would build a deck around Isshin
Galvanic blast would be sick in this deck. You easily hit metal craft for the 4 damage which kills most every commander
Doomed artisan is one of the coolest cards for me. He would probably work well here.

Thoughts on incorporating equipment synergies? Like the other akiri, sigardas aid, puresteel, sword of the animist etc.

I think it'd be cool if we had a budget list and then like an upgrade version of what they would change if they had a higher budget

Toggo is good with akiri
Maybe it is just me but If I have space in a deck I tend to just add Toggo since a deck typically has 30-40% land. I find it surprising how often a good rock token can come in handy LOL, also I find players are forced to waste removal on Toggo :P
