I appreciate the information in your video since this will be my next service on my B7100. Well done! And i would have loved to see what the cleaned filter looked like before reinstalling.

I have a B7100D with a B748B snowcaster. The front lift is no longer lifting, I think due to fluid loss. Mine has an extension on the hydraulic fill port that has a hydraulic hose that goes to the snowcaster lift cylinder. Would this change the capacity of hydraulic fluid for the tractor and make the dipstick reading invalid?

Video was a great help. Changed my fluids just like you showed. Appreciate it. HOWEVER, now my loader won't lift? Syphon screen got cleaned. Hydraulic pump seems to be working but when I removed the hose from the pump to the control levers to check for flow, it was just sputtering (engine running). Not sure why its not getting fluid? Appreciate any advice. Thanks a bunch

Make sure you have the right level of hydraulic fluid? Maybe pump cavitation?

@@bucksgarage1 Thanks for responding. Fluid level is correct. Do you know how the pump system gets its fluid? The pump has suction through the in line (really its the return line I think), but the the out line is just sputtering. So I'm wondering of the line that is the actual source of fluid is blocked?? Not sure where that line is. Really appreciate your ideas, thanks again.

Nice vid. On my B7200, there are two strainers, the other on the opposite side. Is there only one strainer on the B7100? I also regret not replacing the Aluminum washers on the back axle bolts, as I now have a leak on one side.

Thank You. I have a 7100 that isn't lifting as well as it used too and the steering is difficult now. I pulled out the hydraulic dipstick and light brown foamy fluid started coming out. Suggestions?

Thinking about getting a b7200, are these good tractors for hauling wood, clearing brush and debri , plowing snow for a yard little over an acre.just wondering about longevity and effectiveness or spend a little more and get a jd 855 or something.

I’ve got an old B7100 that doesn’t have a filter and it far as I know only has 1 screen. And I can’t find the 3rd bolt. I removed 2 bolts. On with a screen. The other on had no screen. They were right across from each other.
