Installation of the MAURER Uplift Spherical Bearing in the Strombrücke Magdeburg, Germany

The Neue Strombrücke is a road bridge over the Elbe in Magdeburg. It connects Magdeburg's old town with the Elbe island of Rotehorn and the Werder district located there. The largest MAURER Uplift Spherical Bearing in Europe was installed here. This type of bearing enables the transmission and absorption of vertical compressive and tensile forces.
