Seismic Protection of buildings with MAURER SIP®-Adaptive sliding isolation pendulum bearing.
zhlédnutí 251Před 5 měsíci
The MAURER SIP®-Adaptive is a curved surface slider of type double, i.e., with two primary sliding surfaces, whose sliding motions are decoupled by the articulated slider. The fact that the two sliding motions are decoupled allows designing the two primary sliding surfaces with different friction coefficients and effective radii. The resulting adaptive behaviour generates enhanced structural is...

hi sky observation wheel Munich - say hi to the sky
zhlédnutí 688Před 4 lety
The assembly of the hi-sky started two months before its maiden-ride, mid-February 2019. This is a period of time in Munich during which the onset of winter might severely compromise any planning. Up to twelve fitters were working on the huge steel structure. For raising the masts, a 800-ton crane was needed. After this decisive stage had been reached, the assembly of the spokewheel and the ins...

Are these available for residential construction? What about for retrofitting older structures?
good job, i can observe it's internal structure clearly!😊
Good try but not an adequate design.
What makes it interactive?
being able to grip the handles

If you are engineer you'll see this shit and become laughing. Because every kid, except german liars, understand that resin cannot destruct concrete. Because different density between them.
I wonder if it’s more comfortable or just the same

This is a work of ART ! Amazing. This will be the 1st coaster to go on a Cruise Ship. Freaking Cool !

hai, can i ask you something?
pls, explain what is it ?
So it’s not your 13th?
No this is good, push these
No one wants your stupid spike, just focus on good coasters wtf
I wish I had an amusment Park to buil this!!.
I hope that never built from Linnanmäki. Triple launghing much fun idea S & S sansei.
My first thought is Tron theming ; p
not a coaster

it's not a a coaster and who tf says shut it
Bacon Dude36 i didn't say it was. Shut it!
Was er sagt zählt
Would be nice if could determine your own speed. By pedal or something like that.
Actually, you can control your own speed. The first spike racing opened this year at Mirabilandia under the name "Desmo Race". It's actually the second spike coaster built by Maurer but the first one that's duelling. It's pretty similar to this concept except being a normal duelling coaster instead of a möbius. I rode it three weeks ago and I have to say it's pretty fun. The one sitting in the front may control speed and acceleration of his vehicle in the cockpit of the Ducati-themed "motorbikes".
Why did nobody tell me that this roller coaster manufacturer also makes bridge expansion joints?!?
Seems like an interesting design
I want one... XD
Iv'e always wanted a smooth Furious Baco.
The wing bikes crossed with a free flying design like on "Tranan", would make a neat family friendly hover bike themed coaster imo.
+cloud4252000 Thanks for your comment, I will transfer to our R & D folks. Happy new year! Judith
I know you're probably not allowed to reveal too much information about this coaster, but when will the first "wing" model be released?
(I'm the same guy as Jaskiewicz, I just switched my channel) If you're interested, I designed a Maurer Floorless Coaster in RCT3 with a track expansion set. It reaches maximum speed of 66 miles per hour (106 kilometers per hour), a maximum height of 174 feet (about 53 meters), and a maximum drop height of 134 feet (almost 41 meters). The ride elements include a vertical lift (just like on the Maurer Sky Loop models), a 94 degree banked helix, an ejector airtime hill into a vertical loop with tons of "hang time", a banked curve, a zero g roll which dives under a bridge (I am well aware that not all parks will have a beautiful restaurant for the coaster to dive into), another ejector airtime hill, and two back to back corkscrews (they face in opposite directions and I apologize that in the video the corkscrews don't transition well). P.S. Maurer AG, you are the most innovative, original, and unique amusement manufacture in the world. What makes you different from Intamin, B&M, GCI, and Premier Rides? Your coasters change the definition of coasters. Look at some of your models: X-Car, i believe the first coaster train to feature that unique, comfortable restraint; capable of inversions, and insane airtime; The S-Car, a one of kind spinning roller coaster with once again, probably the most comfortable possible restraint; The X-Train, a unique train with 4 seaters across, 2 seats being on the side without a floor for an intense ride experience, and now the Wing, Bike, and Motorcycle coaster? Not only have you made riding a motorcycle feel freer than ever with that awsome restraint, but you've took that train, and put it on the side of the track! I remember a couple weeks ago I thought every coaster model was taken, and that there would never be a new coaster car, but you've accomplished the impossible. I cannot stress enough what an innovative company you are. I really look forward to seeing this model in the future and hope I'll be able to ride one if I have the guts :) . Happy Thanksgiving and good luck to you. -Bryce
+Bryce Jaskiewicz Hello Bryce, happy Thanksgiving to you. You are really an Insider I must say. You have so much detail on our products I am amazed. We just launched this new coaster in Orlando last week and we did have a great feedback so far. Of course now comes the toughest part for a manufacturer, selling the product to the world out there. I will keep you posted if there is a park in the US where you can take a ride. Judith, Head of MarCom , MAURER Corporate, Munich
+Maurer AG I honestly feel many amusement parks need a coaster that gives you that "flying" experience. Like Kings Dominion in Doswell, Virginia. And I think Ocean Park in Hong Kong and Sea World parks would be perfect for something like your Wing coaster mainly because: One, they don't have a current flying or wing coaster in the park (I know Sea World Orlando has Manta, but your model of the "wing" coaster is a mix of a motocoaster and a wing); Two, they have several bodies of water which would be really cool if you could make the ride do some banked turns over the water (like make that stepper you use to get on the car a little wider so the stepper will softly touch the water during the "banked curve" element), or make a water splash effect. If it were to go in a Sea World park, and if it were to skim water, it could be themed to the reptile; the Basilisk (if you don't know what a Basilisk is, it's a lizard that literally runs on water, which is why I say the ride should skim the water). I also think a non-thrill based park chain could use your bike model... Disney. I also don't think it'll cause too much trouble to work with them because you've made a spinning coaster in Disneyland Paris before. It could be an indoor coaster themed to Tron's motorcycles with awsome lighting effects. Or, it could be themed to a Marvel Superhero's motorcycle (an example is Captain America). If it was themed to a Marvel hero, it would probably go in Hong Kong Disneyland mainly because they have an Iron Man themed ride coming out soon, so the Captain America bike coaster could go right next to it. Six Flags could even use your model. Since we all know Six Flags likes to reuse logos and names, the bike could be themed to their "Dare Devil" trademark because bikes are something that stuntmen use (an example of the trademark is Dare Devil Dive at SFOG & Dare Devil Chaos Coaster at SFDK). Definitely don't name it Goliath, (we've had enough of those). I just have one question, can the Wing/Bike model do inversions? If so, this multiplies the possibilities for which park this model can go too. Anyways, these are just my thoughts on where this model could go. -Bryce
+Jaskiewicz Too bad but we really can not talk about it. The parks want to keep there news secret for as long as possible. You will learn about it either on you tube or on our site. Cheers Judith
Can't you easily fall out of this coaster model??
+movieboysHD - sorry, it took me so long to answer. As we want you to enjoy our ride, we made sure, that a grown up person can't fall out of the coaster. A very unique seat belt system, hip belt, will avoid this to happen. Judith
+Maurer AG ok
+Maurer AG but what about a kid thats thin, not a grown man or woman?? Don't get me wrong the whole model looks great, but it seems as if a thin kid might fall out
+Brennan HDproductions Hi Brennan, There is a hight as well as age limitation because safety first. And it is not the right type of coasters for too small children anyway. More thrill for grown ups. Cheers Judith
Maurer AG thanks for getting back to me, but I think I worded that wrong. I meant like a thin person, yet he is still tall enough to ride, im that way, I love roller coasters but im not too educated about how the whole height thing works, so I don't doubt you, thanks!
