You are the first person I have ever heard say to set all three settings at 12 then to cut the Mids and up the Gain. It did make the sound clearer and fuller to my ears, huge difference in my opinion I have this exact model and I am going to try your recommendation. 'Wow" Thank you very much.
An interesting acoustic guitar - and the first thing I hear is I’ve got it plugged into an amp…. Very pretty - but it defeats the purpose for those of us who play without amps… so now I still don’t know whether to shortlist this guitar!
I'm looking for a replacement for a cheap Kona k1e guitar that matches these specs but had awesome low action, a slender neck and sounded sooo good. I've been in a state of depression ever since it developed a bubble and was then ruined by a local shop. Does this have low action? Or if you have any other recommendations I would greatly appreciate it.
Very sorry to hear about your troubles! :( We love the takamine brand and they have very nice necks. The action can be set up very low and we recommend having it set up professionally by a trusted technician. We can do that if you are close or purchase through us!

Very impressive preamp for an acoustic at this price point. Sounds better than many 2k+ Taylors I've heard.
