Same angle as front of door,,you got this Bob!!
I second this.
Definitely same angel as the doors, looking amazing brother. Id go a nice shiny blue or bare metal look. Love it !!! Can't wait to see the next steps of the build
I third it Bob.
YEP!
I like the idea of following the door angle for the grill.
Looking good Bob!!
You are building a Rat Rod Bob Art Piece there man!! Julie and Anthony are some great folks!
Bob i have subscribed and watched several years... you are my retired guy hero! i just turned 70, and admire all you do.
You know exactly what we're all gonna say. Street rod, door angle.
What ever you decide Bob, "it'l be GREAT". I love it already.
Street rod it Bob!! She's sure one good looking machine ❤
You don't wanna miss it, you just don't!
I vote Glossy Hot Rod! Making good progress Bob!
Yep. The angle of the door for the Grill Bob. Pulling that body back helps a lot. Your making some good progress. Watched enough of your builds to know. "It takes a minute."
But it all comes together in the end. Put some Rat Rod Bob in it.
I agree grill angle same as the door, looking great Bob, as usual😁😁
A beautiful hot rod with a fabulous paint job is screaming to be built. 34s deserve no less!
Hot Rod ! black, red Flames, white outlines 🎉
I like the angles and the curves
Its crazy how much wheels can change the look of a car!! Angle the grill for the win!!
The 34 is looking great Bob…you are the man!
Lookin great, Bob! Hot rod all the way. It's gonna be great.
Definitely the same angle Bob! Lookin’ really good!!
Bob,God and myself loves the wheel/tire get up you got right cheer
Bob, what you do just works, it just does
Don't forget you have a side hood template to get the grill angle right .😊
Yep ... forgot about that. I'll break it out and see what we have.
Hey Bob. Good to see the hot Rod coming along. You sure are putting lots of cash into it.
Things cost sooo much nowadays. It's looking good Brother. Thanks for sharing.👍👍🍁
Good to see ya getting some love Bob! 😎
Pierson brothers special is the coupe on the flats that i likèd.
Definitely angle the grill ,that thing is starting to look awesome 🛠️ 😎
I would have sat in front of your garage when I was a kid?,, waiting to learn, the man has a good soul
Make it slick and paint it to look like bare metal. I think you got this Bob
The tubes from a old school TV antenna could make a cool grill.
Looking good Bob Good trick mounting the tires a nice banner from Anthony and Julie and I think you should paint the car orange
Looking better every time!😮
I don't care how you build it it's goin to be great!!!
Those cheater slicks look awesome.
Whatever you do it’ll be cool! I’m definitely with you on matching the angle of the grill shell with the door buddy.
Bob, this is awesome , another great build , gonna be cool .
Yeah you got this Bob.😮😊
Is it about the fiberglass ?,, the freedom is to do what you want,,,! Tin fiber or metal to have the fun with it and enjoy,, God bless this this podcast
Bob , loving the new build… I agree angle the front grill same angle as the cowl looks great , and grill with you’re signature spider web would be kinda cool too … shout out to Ole Red Too ! 😎
Hi Bawb, greetings from the UK. Same angle as the door, as it will give it a nice symmetrical look. You've got this Bawb, not yet, but you will.
Great start, certainly coming together, should be another great build, from the school of RatOligy😂😅 can't wait for the episode, 😊 thanks for sharing, all the best to you and your loved ones
Thanks for sharing, I always learn something about building or various products. You are spot on with grill angle I believe. Keep up the great work.
Hot rod, Bob! It wants to be a hot rod.
Bob, it's time for a Kick butt shiny paint job for this bad ride
It's coming together good Mr.Bob looking nice keep up the great work God bless from Tennessee
Red Neck Tire Machine. Red likes it!! Remember the Rat Rod Bawb rubber at the radiator bottom mount. Leave a nice rake in it. Don't get carried away with lowering "stuff". The grill shell angle matching the door would be nice.
Heavy metal flake paint doesn't have to be perfect bodywork Bob. It hides a lot of imperfections. 3 stages 1rst stage Rattle can orange base, 2nd stage intercoat clear with a lot of heavy silver flake, 3rd stage clear coat.👌 Old skool hot rod paint job Woooooo baby! About $500 bucks for materials.😉✌
Hot Rod! Looking good! Thanks for sharing!
Looks good Bob! I will get with you about the rear end. I like the idea of matching the grille angle to the door. Keep up the good work man!
That's wild. Today I saw hard core's channel for the first time and binge watched his jeep build. Also got my alloyworks radiator for my rat rod 2days ago. TY Bob!!!
angling the grill to match the front cab angle looks real nice
Yes Sir the coupe is looking bad ass 👍🇺🇸
Thanks for sharing 😀👍
Bob make this car look like a bronze statue. You can duit i have faith
Lookin' good, Bob !!!
Bob, you got the formula brotherman, and your channel is going to explode with viewers, it's just a cool ass ride to the finish line with over a million followers watching the Ratrod uprising..
Looking good hot rod
Doing real good Bob I like it I've learned quite a bit from you watching us the time I have and I enjoy every new episode
Looks good with the radiator angle matching the door. When you make the grill just flatten some stainless brake tube.
I like following same angle as the door, makes a good flow
Grill Sherl you are right Bob. Same angle as the door.
Anything you build looks aways good
Heck yeah Bob's
yup, thats the way you do it right thur!!
ELECTRIC BLUE WOULD LOOK SWEET
Grill same angle as the door looks great!👍
A proud subscriber here Bob!! I vote the rat rod look, I've seen fellow's with fiberglass Willy"s and the body work was a long hard task!! Preciate ya Bob!!
I'm reading a lot of people want him to paint it shiny?
I'll never tell a man what or how he should cover his car.
I'm not shire if people that want to see a shiny car how much work it takes to paint a shiny car and look right and how much work it takes to maintain a shiny paint job. Lots of wax and a good car cover.
I like your idea about the grill shell in front Bob....you are on the right track!!
Vertical lines all the same would look COOL
She is slowly coming to life, I love the journey. We appreciate you bringing us along for the ride Bob. You're awesome.
Our only limit is what we impose on ourself. Everyone always says what I think, no need to swell yer head no more. Great looking shop that will always just keep a growing till you grow out of it. Next thing is building a place just for the stuff on the walls when those get full up
Cool stuff! I'm digging it. Enjoyed watching ✌️ 😎
Just like Ford did it. Slant it and make Henry happy.
Just like the door and side panel
Good show Bob!!
I see it's not your first time mounting tires by hand....!!!!!
Love those old school rims....
Looks awesome Bob!!
I remember Wescot bodies incorporated and glassed in the metal framework supports Door frames and bracing . Louvers in the grill and side curtains . Trunk lid filler with louvers
Looking good Bob 👍👍
I'm loving in it, a nice Blue I,m thinking
The best cars out there come from the mind of a single person. It's when you start getting committees, and focus groups, and managers, that we get to where we are today with modern cars. That being said I would love to see the fiberglass work involved to make it shiny not just get it 80% of the way there and make it ratty. Oh and I agree the grill and leading edge of the door angle matching would look great.
I'd use the angle of the front cowl. It has a good rake and would carry on that accent line. I would finish it in grey near the color of the gelcoat. That would give it a fiberglass mocking metal look. I remember seeing Salt Flat racers with metal inserts in the grill shell that had cooling holes punched through to give it an aerodynamic look. You want this car to be a Salt Flat Speedster look so everything needs to be smooth. Use door poppers and ditch the door handles. The hood sides should be metal with stamped louvers to complete the look. The proportions are great and tucking in the rear wheels is the right move. You are definitely "Gettin It!"
looking sharp! she is setting good.
Im diggin it. Same angle as the door and bare metal look for my vote.
I really like the black paint then how you wipe the silver on.
Awesome! Watching you work is pretty amazing Bob! Great job! Can’t wait to watch what you do on this one!
Looking good Bob.. Making good progress.
You are right Bob Keep the same angle
Two schools of thought on the rad shell angle (if you aren't running hood sides) : Match the edge of the cowl, or match the windscreen pillar angle. Either way looks good!
It’s looking good as always Bob you are the man to watch
Bob that will make a beautiful hot rod
I'm sure liking this build. You got some mad skills man!
Be cool to see a slick paint job this time around.
Coming together Bob keep it coming
Same angle as door Great job
Mannnn....you were puttin on the ritz on those tires and rims....🤣
Please no red ! Gloss black 👍 Thanks for another , Brother !
You are just getting started Bob and I’m loving everything about this car. It’s your car and just my opinion but this one needs to be slick and bright red or it’s really screaming nice purple to me. What ever you do it’s going to be cool. Much respect Bob your making dreams come true 👍😎✌️
You getting it it's going to be cool yep. Oh yeah Thay always come out cool bob . Loving it so far . It's your ride and it will be fine.
Hey Bawb,
The more you work on that coupe the better it looks.
My vote would be for a mild Hot Rod look.
It don't have to be a show car, just a nice clean somewhat shinny fun to drive, ass kickin Hot Rod.
That radiator shell looks best slanted to match the front of the door.
Rat Rods are fun but many have become Trash Rods.
You have a rat rod reputation but Hot Rods are way cool.
Take Care Bawb.
P.S. That banner from Anthony and Julie Looks right at home on your shop wall.
I live about 35 miles from them, I'll tell them it was a good choice.
Memorabilia looks great up there!! Great story too. Love the piecrust slicks and the American wheels. The old '34 is looking great. Agree with the grille angled the same as the rear edge of the hood sides. Think the leading edge of the door is too upright. Agree with the need for a lot of inner structure.....rigidity and safety. I'd go with a bare metal ratrod look. Looking forward to this one. Be safe and stay well.
I like your idea about matching the angles I agree with you on that I think it would look better
Let’s go with slick paint this time
I love the way you think
Slick nice paint job
