A few tips on clothing when working with firewood

  • Don't get too hot or too cold when doing this type of work.
    Take off different layers of clothing as you warm up, and when you stop or slow down, put clothes back on. In cold weather it is easy to get a chill if you are not appropriately dressed.

    He's back! Thank you for the advice. I like to wear wool, especially socks. Seems great for temperature regulation and letting the skin breathe.

    Hi Michael ,How many cords of wood do you process in a typical year,and do you wear steel toe cap boots when splitting wood.Good advice on clothing!.

      Mr. Tesla: Good to hear from you again. It does look nice, but it would be nicer if we did not have so much rain down here
