If you are preparing weeks in advance make sure to work the fondant every 7days to get it back to an elastic consistency. When using treated fondant make sure to rub it between your hands to get it back to elastic consistency like chewing gum and ther shouldn't be any granuly texture. When pulled the fondant should give a nice long stretch without breaking
