I'm a huge fan of Runes and use various rows, decks and sets. My main one is a 33 Rune set of Northumbrian Runes I made myself out of rowan twigs - I always preface a Tarot reading now by drawing a Rune to give the overall energy pertinent to the question. I find Runes to have enormous power and to be very direct and punchy. I use Elder and Anglo-Frisian Runes too, and have had a set of Oghams in the past which I made out of wooden medical tongue depressors I snaffled from work (they'd been in the cupboard for years and nobody ever used them, so I don't think they were ever missed lol!) I'm well impressed with the Runes you made yourself and those Oghams with the little tree stamped on the back are just gorgeous!
I love your videos! You have got me interested in historical Tarot decks, oghams and now runes - it's been quite expensive😬, but an enjoyable and fascinating journey Thank you so much!
KELLY The Runes Oracle Book and Cards. I purchased mine back in July 2016 after seeing you on one of you Live Chats Show it. I love it you must have gotten yours back in 2016 before July . Even though I have so many beautiful sets of Runes I love to Shuffle them and pull out some cards 😄💜💛
I know this is super old but at the dollar tree now they have little wood blocks that could be used. Or even the game with wood blocks could be used to diy a set.
Lots of useful information! I bought some mini ones manufactured by "Running Press" which feel so good as they're light and portable. I love the ones you made. Crystal ones ❤️ Maybe I'll get around to making some but I'm very good at procastinating.
I got a deck of plain playing cards poker size and have put on the rune symbols and going to add keywords as we go through your course x looking forward to this so much!

In it you had the Poetic Edda book and I think the Paul Rhs Mountfort book and a handful of others. Do you know if that video is still up here on youtube? I think casting the runes with cards is not ideal. I think people should use the cards if they don’t yet have the real thing. Thank you for this video great options. I have runes but I don’t have oghams I still just use the Celtic tree oracle. I’m going to see if I can get ogham sticks on Etsy one day. I also am interested in witch’s runes, which are traditionally only 13 in number, but I would love to make my own and use a thousand different symbols it would be so fun. Thank you ☺️

Kelly, have you ever thought about selling your courses for cheaper without the online community element? It’s just because I’ll be in a completely different timezone from yourself during the course and won’t be able to participate as much as I’d like with all the live elements of the course. Just curious! Same goes for your previous courses.
BoyDiviner Hello there, I do not factor the community element into the price, that is just something free that is set up on Facebook that people can use and a small number use it but not that many in relation to the class. So unfortunately that isn’t something that would reduce the class price, what factored into that is time spent, these are live classes not one and done recorded videos, and resources given which equal time spent by me :) I do appreciate the thought and pricing is always a hard thing, but I try my best to keep my prices reasonable :)

BoyDiviner Makes perfect sense, but yes you can send in questions through email for sure. I really struggled with whether to do preset classes with the videos done just once and you grabbed it and went, there is a lot of benefit to those type classes. But I find that I really enjoy teaching more “classroom” style and I think it plays to my strengths as a teacher more, so after really back and forth about it, I just opted to focus on live classes that have a bit more organic nature class to class but record them for those who can’t be there on that time, life is full of compromises I suppose!
BoyDiviner - as someone who has taken Kelly's classes - even if you cannot make the classes, you really get a full spectrum of the full class experience. Kelly has always been readily available to answer questions, be it in the live classes, or via email outside of the classes. The classes are extensive, and to be watched over and over. Many PDF's are also included. I highly recommend Kelly's classes. Very thorough classes indeed. The price she asks, and quality of a class one receives, is a steal. Go for it! You will not regret it =D
