I really liked your insight into the Afterlife lore. I loved those filler scenes in the Anime even though they aren’t cannon.
that is the coolest looking piccolo ive ever seen. kinda wish this was his transformation, it looks so badass. a perfect mix of piccolos regular look with shenlong dragon.
I'll be honest, the more I'm exposed to it the more Orange Piccolo really begins to appeal to me, I definitely like Dragon-Warrior mode more but I' obviously very biased

just looking at that piccolo gives me so many ideas for what ifs that could fit that version of piccolo. it might be a bit different from canon, but thats what i love about what ifs.

Dude, love this series, always felt like alot of the DBz (yes, DB-z, done intentionally) characters/pas rivals were always left in the dust because of how ridiculously OP the Sayan race (and subsequent line-up of villains/enemies) were and it felt cruel t'wards the humans and namekians (and whatever Tien is) and especially Piccolo, which I always felt was a very interesting character story and development wise with alot of potential that never got truly exploited. Would love to see an original story line set in an alternate universe/future where now half-sayans, namekians, earthlings (and all the dinos and animal people and three eyed people) lived as a set-up for a new story with new characters, new sagas (and yeah, sure, why not, throw in the frieza race somewhere or make all the weird aliens we see through out the series more pro-active). That'd be cool.

That's quite the creative technique, exploiting the elasticity of Piccolo's arms, and combining it a something that has the principle of the SBS mixed with the power of the Kaioken...
Overall, this story is great, because although it's clearly about Piccolo, who is my favorite character, it leaves no characters behind - and is a testiment to not only his, potential, but also that of the Z Fighters as a group. And I appreciate details like how OP the Son family could be as farmers, the emotional development development of the characters, and recognizing Piccolo's role as a General and playmaker first and foremost - someone who uses his strength and wisdom to train, guide, and direct others, even give them a hard time, when need be. It goes to show effective the team and their allies would be if they communicated, learned from one another, and worked together properly. It make me wish the story proper had done more with these ideas.

I always wondered why they never wished for an easier way to get senzu beans. Seems like farming them like 6 at a time is not super efficient. I'm just gonna assume plot. No stakes if they have a whole pot of beans when they pull up.

In order for Piccolo Jr. to be born good, Goku has to kill King Piccolo very quickly before he even forms a thought so instead of launching himself through King Piccolo Goku just blasts a sudden Kamehamega and for extra reassurance Goku knocks KP unconscious seconds before he explodes

Well its meant to symbolize the children the two mcs start off as shadowed by the divine heights they're going to reach, for that matter Kid Goku and Piccolo take up just as much space on it.
Also as stated in the intro there are more bits of the story to come.
I think how they shouldve done piccolo was he turns good and dies sacrificing himself but before he dies he shoots out new him like king piccolo did and its like an evolution of himself and has crazy potential like uub or something like since he fused with kami whos basically a god and the other namekians the new him has god ki and instead of being 4 fused ppl with him being at the head its just 1 born from the 4

Piccolo is the only character in DBZ who made me freaked out and traumatized me in the filler episode 111, of the Garlic Junior saga.
I disagree heavily with the erasa and Gohan ship, based on how Saiyans work if Videl was a fighter Gohan should've been at least a little interested. Not only that I can't even imagine what those two would bond over as from what I remember Erasa was your stereotypical poplular female character, aka Likes Shopping and Gossip. Correct me if I'm wrong tho.
You're not exactly wrong so much as just arguing a pretty subjective point:
#1 Gohan isn't pure saiyan, his tastes in women aren't as concretely defined as a pure saiyans, he could like that Videl is a fighter or that she's just generally smart, kind, or that she has a strong sense of justice.
#2 Videl's edge is no longer there in modern day dragon ball. She's still does martial arts but thats about it and at this point everytime its mentioned its purely as a job not a passion any longer. Gohan almost never mentions enjoying martial arts purely for the sake of it so its evidenced that fighting isn't what keeps them together even if its what let the two notice one another.
#3 Videl in this verse likely wouldn't even be a fighter, Hercule didn't get to coast off of credit for Cell's defeat so his championship title would likely be lost fairly quickly and Videl may lose interest in following in his footsteps so her entire personality would likely be different or at least not a carbon copy of what we know her as.
#4 Erasa and current Videl aren't super different, the basic teenage girl aspecrs of the character excluded, both are just generally nice and easy to get along with.
#5 Erasa showed open interest in Gohan in canon and was just willing to get to know him, in a verse where Saiyaman never exists, the world tournament and Buu doesn't offer a shared challenge for bonding, and Gohan just gets to normally go to school and finish out its mega possible for his SO by the end to be a toss up, however the girl who is mature enough not to do the whole tsundere trope with an oblivious character has better chances I'd say.
#6 Its not Gohan's story, his ship wasn't all that integral to the story so if you disagree I guess you just disagree, at one point near the end I even refer to Erasa as Videl so that should tell you how much weight I placed on the relationship. It was more so just about showing this Gohan as being able to go through life with a bit more confidence and balance in his life and end up as a well adjusted adult. So if it just grinds your gears all I can really do is explain my thought process, there is no hardcore backing for one take over the other.

That man is Low key quite powerful by normal Human standards, I wouldn't be Surprised if his power level was higher than Kid Goku's and Yamacha's at the start of Dragon ball [Which was 10 I believe]. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

To be clear, Hit fights by targeting vitals which simply Being stronger than normal during this encounter shouldn't directly counter-act. Unless you're saying that Vegeta is reacting faster but Vegeta doesn't start predicting Hit until after the tip from goku.

Actually it can be gathered from his statements that Spopovich (even before the Majin amp since otherwise Babidi could have gotten any number of people with evil in them) was likely a decent challenge, my take on Hercule without Cell is that eventually he'd be knocked off the top spot since while he is powerful, he's not outside the levels a normal earthling could reach through some diligent training, if the perception of the guy isn't that he's strong enough to take down an army destroying world ending evil super bug more will have the drive to do so, especially since he spends so much time bragging.
With Vegeta, yes being stronger would help against Hit. The #1 rule of Dragon Ball is that Power always superscedes Hax. This is one of the only true consistincies we have to the point its fairly consistent across different Shonen Battle Manga. If you are overall stronger than an another character you have the ability to power through their abilities, and if you are stronger in a general sense like Vegeta is here compared to his canon counterpart you have the ability to better withstand and yes react to their ability. So yes just being a bit stronger helps Vegeta do better against Hit as described.

Even though they were all really strong against frieza it’s always a bad idea to wait around frieza would 100% find a way to quickly hav a tumpcard and either instantly blow up the planet or at the least result in what happens in cannon.
