I feel like you would be a mix where instead of not trying to vie for power. He would still vie for power but more intelligently. He would build relations with important people such as Minato and he would still gain power for the Uchiha and help the village out. In major ways stuff like orochimaru but he would also decline the position of a hokage due to him seeing how good Minato was at being hokage before he died and he would save Minato by him defending him earlier in attempting to be at kushina's birth as an excuse to help control the nine tails due to the seal weakening in him being able to help defend against Obito and hopefully save their life since he could probably control the nine tails at a higher level than Obito due to him having both of his MS and Obito only having one
