Your boat turned out great! I'm glad you stuck with it there was a couple times where I thought you might give up on this one. Can't wait to see it with the windshield when you get it done.
I really enjoyed watching the resto on this runabout. You just plowed through a project similar to mine in a small fraction of the time I’m taking - it’s inspiring. Thanks.
Man, I checked out a bunch of our videos on this restoration and you really did a fantastic job of this, well done! I'm sure you specifically mentioned in a video and I likely missed it, but if you had to roughly guess on the amount of time you put into this, do you have a ballpark of hours / days needed? Context: I have a 14'4" runabout with a not-great transom that I reinforced enough to remove any visible flex, but long-term it needs a re-do - if I'm doing that, I'm doing it from the inside which means I'll do the stringers and floor too. It's a simple boat, with a split-able top cap like yours and no moldings / any other complexities in the bottom half - just hull, stringers/transom, deck, and two seat boxes (also made out of wood and tabbed to the floor). I have experience in mechanics and electrical, a bit less in woodworking and fiberglass but not entirely new. I'm basically trying to figure out if I can do this in a winter of evenings / weekends and not miss a season (have a day job). TIA, and again - amazing work!

Glad to see you back!
I understood your comments about the paint being terrible, but did you use it anyway or something else ?
Yes I was already invested in it
