  • In this quick video, I will show you how to change the LED colors on your CyberPowerPC.
    WARNING:
    - It is VERY IMPORTANT that you DO NOT change any other configurations in your BIOS unless you know what you are doing. Otherwise, this may lead to issues with your PC.
    - It is NOT recommended to have your PC on carpet as static electricity may damage internal components.
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
IF YOU HAVE TROUBLE ACCESSING THE BIOS MENU:
PCs may use the keys like the F1, F2, F10, F12, or DEL key.
If you have Windows 10 (and probably older versions) and still need help accessing the BIOS menu, follow these steps:
** Read the instructions BEFORE actually doing it (or take a picture of the instructions on your phone first) **
    1) Press the Windows Key
    2) Search for "Settings"
    3) In the "Settings" menu, click on "Update & Security"
    4) In the left hand panel, click on "Recovery" tab
    5) Underneath the "Advanced startup" section, click on the "Restart" button.
    6) Your PC will restart from here. When it boots back up, it will provide a list of options to select. Select the "Troubleshoot" option.
    7) Another menu will appear with options. Select the "Advanced options".
    8) Select the "UEFI Firmware Settings" option.
    9) Your PC will either restart automatically or prompt you to restart. If it prompts you, restart it by pressing the restart button.
    10) Once your PC reboots again, it will send you to the BIOS menu!
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you know the exact name and model of this PC, share it below!

On the newer CyberPower PC's there are buttons for the lights. Some underneath but on brand new ones the button is right on top next to the usb ports to change the color of the lights. It's smaller than the on/off button and near the middle of the PC.

Because there are so many areas to cover to properly troubleshoot the issue of the LEDs not working at all, it would be nearly impossible for me to efficiently assist everyone in the comments regarding that. I would need to make another video covering common & possibly uncommon issues that could cause the lights to not work... OR maybe even set up a video chat with a few of you guys to help troubleshoot your issues individually.

In the RGB LED Menu, if you see the LED Controller option for it set to "OFF", change it to something else. However, if this is not the case, make sure that your LED lights are actually plugged in properly into your motherboard. If everything checks out but it still does not work, I may suggest you to try grabbing another set and making sure your lights are not defective.

    • @YoTrauma
      @YoTrauma  Před 2 lety

      Short answer:
Set the LED Controller "Static" to set the mode to a solid color. Next, set these values...
      Red(255), Green(0), Blue(255).
      Tip #1:
From there, you can also change the saturation of the purple color by increasing/decreasing the Green value.
      Tip #2:
Search for ("Hex color picker") on Google. There is a utility for choosing a custom color. Select the color you want and plug in the values you see in the RGB field.
      Hope this helps!
