- Today we go explore Koh Phayam island in Ranong, Thailand. It’s the gem of the Andaman sea. Very relaxing and idyllic, Koh Phayam is lesser visited island, compared to Phuket or Samui island.
■How to get there
We went to Koh Phayam from Ranong pier by speed boat. It cost 350 THB per person. We got the tickets in Pon’s place in Ranong city. Its office is in the center of Ranong city. We can get the tickets in the hotel as well.

Thank you so much for watching 😊 Koh Phayam has a very relaxing and idyllic atmosphere, and not packed with people so in this sense, I didn’t feel that the island is a touristic place.
The name of the hotel we mentioned the last day is The Blue Sky Resort. Yes, the location is very good, near from the pier. It should be wonderful. We’d like to stay there the next time 😊

Moken people in Koh Phayam are engaged in fishing and agriculture. They are known as sea nomads and their way of life is very unique. I heard they have a great diving skill and are very good at spearfishing 😊
