      Also, being active with your children makes a huge difference in behavior!! But yes, your spot on, most claim they have done it all and in reality all they have done is scream, get aggressive, ect. Simply being there for children can make all the difference. What most people obviously forget is children learn how to act from their parents...

    Jason needs to quit threatening to move away as a scare tactic. He needs to consider how the best way is to parent and have the girls not lose out. This show is amazing bc it shows how seemingly children with bad emotional/ behavior problems are just acting out bc they lack proper discipline and guidelines.Clearly these girls craved discipline.

    The house where the parents who don’t want to be married but mess around, the older daughter is so sweet and has so much to deal with. She’s also 10x more mature than her dad especially with his little tantrum. I can’t stand when they ask for Jos help but then when she’s there they don’t want to listen and get mad. He needs to grow up and man up and put his daughters first for once. Mg heart hurts for the older daughter having to deal with her own emotions and then also taking care of her little sister and trying to help her through her feelings as well.

      Actually, I thought the young Mom was pretty mature for her age, although looking at the ages of the kids, she was probably 19-20 when they had their first child. Seems odd that the husband couldn’t grasp the importance of being onthe same page with his wife instead of undermining what she’s trying to do with the kids.

    My granddaughter was starting the same thing - too frightened in her own room business after my son and his wife purchased a large 2 story home with master bedroom downstairs and other bedrooms upstairs. They never let her in their bed because both of us grandma's wouldn't let them. We are not usually pushy so they took heed on the bed advice. They did divide the master bedroom, putting in a wall and small sleeping area with toddler bed and just used the what's termed "rapid return" technique. After 2 nights bedtime was solved. Then by the time my granddaughter was starting school she wanted to sleep in her lovely bedroom upstairs. Yes she cried in the beginning of the toddler bed bedtime but we let our children know it's OK to let your children cry sometimes. My dad told me good parents can't give their children everything. Simple words but I listened to them, fortunately so did my children when they encountered issues with their children. You can't give your children everything they want so just don't.

    When my kids were younger my ex lived about four blocks from me. But we had rules and boundaries. For instance if a child got upset at one person's house they were not allowed to run off to the other person's house. We knew whose house they were supposed to be at at what time and it wasn't up to them to just flop back and forth between houses without their dad or I knowing or approving. Those were some of the easiest and better times we had co-parenting. However we were not friends with benefits and we didn't have houses where we could see each other's front doors! I think the parents in this episode don't want to give up control of the other person which is why they live like they do right now. Especially the dad because as soon as you start talking about having structure he throws out a threat of internet dating and sleeping with other people. And I understand what the mom is saying, that there's no structure and that the dad feels like he can just say on a whim that he's free and wants to see the kids. He's making sure there's no way that the mom moves on with someone else because he could pop in at any time and that's another control tactic using the kids. They've got to have at least have a basic schedule and structure down if this is going to work.

      @jill7759 Před 6 měsíci

      Well, that’s the problem isn’t it? “This is harder on me than it is on you”, a saying no child ever believes but is nonetheless true. Discipline, consistently given, is something every child craves. Children can’t set their own boundaries, they NEED a parent for that but it’s not easy. You’re going to sacrifice your own interests and your own comfort lots of times especially when they are young and you’re laying those foundations. This family chaos is what you get if you can’t do that. Having children is just about the only adult thing we allow without the least knowledge or capability to do it.

    I always wander how it comes that people who are struggled with parenting have so much children; 3,4, sometimes 6 kids!! Not the children are ‘difficult’ these days, but the father and mother aint parenting anymore!! When you have a child/children, behave yourself like a parent!! As long you are raising children, you can’t be one. SO GROW UP!! Both of you. Dad 64 an mom’s 26…. That man hasn’t any respect for his wife; she’s a kid in his eyes too…

    I believe in the paranormal, Some kids ESPECIALLY kids are more sensitive, It's the fact she does not want to play in her bedroom either. It's worth looking into and trying to educate but not scare the child, I don't recommend any videos on the matter until she is older that could make it worse. A solution might be to talk to her and find out what she sees and let her know that she is safe. Paranormal stuff even as an adult is scary, A lot of the time however, The stuff won't be harmful just scary to see.
    I know me and my mom are more sensitive than others
