That looked quite nice for 85p. The spaghetti bolognese in this brand is really good
I rather agree James, please feel free to take a look...

Can't go wrong with cheesey tomato pasta , and great price. 😊
Cheap and cheerful, a rare find these days :)
Cheap and cheerful that will do for me,for when the other half, has his liver and onions x thank you
Looks good pap! I like the £1 350g bag of it from Iceland. I sometimes add cooked diced chicken breast to it. It really goes a long way too! 🙂
Nice one Ashleigh, chicken would work really well in this :)
@@Papparoni I think it does 🙂
Pretty good for 85p. Might give it a go
I still don't know which is my favourite out of Gymnopédie no. 1 and Clair de Lune... Both so beautiful 😍 🎹 🎶
Really hard choice Val, I think I'd go with Lune, just :)
yummy food !
Glad you think so :)
I've had a few of these cheese and tomato pasta meals from various supermarkets & they've all been very nice. Never tried this one though! top review Pap
Thanks Daniel, I've had a few too and know what you mean :)
Cheese and tomato pasta was a staple in my childhood, my grandad used to make it for me all the time when i'd come back from school
What a top grandad
Oh yeah ...plus chickens in mmmm
That'd be nice :)
Well, seems decent enough. And you can't pack a sad about the price, either. Cheese and tomato are so good together. America's Test Kitchen has this fantastic Tomato Macaroni and Cheese recipe that is easy and really good. Thanks for the review, sir!!!
You're very welcome, and I love the term 'can't pack a sad' :)
Just sounded like a smile would sound lol . Basic but just what the doctor orders sometimes
Hahaa, I like that phrase nice one Chris
The food of the gods and cheaper than my aftershave. This has to be a record for the cheapest substantial one person ready-meal without a yellow sticker?
Your aftershave comment did make me laugh Edward. As for the record, it's certainly a solid competitor.
Hi Papps I remember that music from the hamlet cigar (I think) ads back in the 80s. I have some tomatoes to use up, I think I'll make my version tomorrow thanks for the idea.
No worries Ms Ms, and I think the Hamlet cigar advert used Bach's Air On A G String :)
@@PapparoniI am going to have to look up what advert that music was used on 😂
According to another sub, it was this - 'Cadbury's Bournville selection released November 1976'
Nice easy peazy cheap frozen meal. 85p qualifies for the 'Quid Meals'
I see Aldi everyday essentials and Sainsbury's Stamford Street Co have this too. I remember eating the McCaine one here in Oz.
It was around the $2 mark.
There's lots of dry ingredient varieties about here. There's the Continental snack pot cheesy tomato and a Mug Shot cheesy tomato. I didn't like those, but the Continental packet mix creamy tomato, parmesan and basil was very tasty. Although that one took 12 minutes to prepare.
I miss that rubbish. Have to make my own gf now.
Nice review John. Cheers 👍🤤😀
Thanks John. You've reminded me that I have some of those Mug Shots in my stash, time to use and replace ;)
@@Papparoni Don't forget the garlic bread with the mug shots. It masks that cardboard taste they have.
Roger that :)
Good Morning Papparoni another excellent review here on this Lidl Product - A great price and it sounds as though it is very good even though it needs some magic white powder ! 7 out of 10 is a good score - have the best Sunday Mate :-)
Cheers mate, I hope you mean salt!
@@Papparoni Lol yes I meant the true magic white powder ! have a great Monday mate :-)
:D
Oh yeah!
Random question but how did you get in touch with cosori for them to send you that air fryer to review?
I didn't chap, they contacted me through my channel.
Hi papparoni great review I loved this one I tried the spaghetti bolognese one too but I need to try the lasagne one yet and I'm going to see if they more in that budget and range 😊
Fill your boots Siobhan, good to see you again :)
@@Papparoni thank you 😊 yeah I went to lidls but couldn't find the lasagne for 85p 😔 I got the curry one tho for 85p great vid as always 👍
I wonder if Beethoven would like pasta.
I wouldn't dare ask him!
My girlfriend bet me that I couldn't make a car out of spaghetti, but you shouldv'e seen her face when I drove pasta..😁
Hahaa, I needed that Mr Atkinson :D
@@Papparoni good to hear Paps 😄
I know this is a obtuse request but hopefully you will understand why I am humbly request this but please show how many times you pierce the film lid and where so us viewers have a chance of sharing your experience as you had it if that makes any sense
Anything for you my friend :)
85p and tasty is rare thing these days. Nice find papp.
Cheers jay, indeed any meal under a quid is nice in current times.
I love the Iceland version of this, not tried this one 👍
Then you need to get those boots filled eh Sarah :)
@@Papparoni oh yes definitely 👍
Under a quid, amazing in todays world and to make it a really cheap hole filler, I would most likely eat it as a sandwich. It must of cost them that much in power to make it.
Only you Uncle, I need to try a cheese and tomato pasta sandwich now!
Looks like the basis for a good lunch.
Indeed many things could be added if so desired.
@@Papparoni True, have a great weekend.
You too..
cant beat it at that price 🤔
Especially these days :)
Not had this particular one papps but I've had the Tesco hearty food co version and the asda essentials version and they are both very nice and the chances are that they are all made in the same factory and as you said very handy to have in if you can't be bothered cooking. As always loved the piano lovely piece of music 🎶 👍👍🎹🍝
Indeed there is a chance they're all made on the same premises Robert, and as for that piece, Satie was on top form the day he wrote it :)
@@Papparoni was that piece of music from a TV advert in the 70's or early 80's ??? I know it from somewhere
Iceland do a nice version too. 👍😄
Not sure which advert it was Robert, it has been used in a lot of places though according to an internet search :)
Sainsbury's and Iceland do similar for same price.
I can’t stand pasta, don’t like the texture but by ur reaction this didn’t seem too bad and u could add things to it. The tune sounded sad so I googled a pasta joke for u,.. why does pasta have to pay so much car insurance? …bcos his car always ends up al dente.. yes it’s great ty✌️🤣
Teehee nice one, and as for the tune, I adore it, wonderful composition :)
i would add a tin of tuna
That's a great idea Anthony, I'll be trying that cheers
That's a great idea - to 'beef' it up, so to speak
Yum 👍🤤
Noooo, there is a limit to depravity, this is not right.
Handy for some.
