    I have one and just can say, this ultra flow Salomon shoes are very comfortable, secure as fit well the feet and very ligth to walking and running. Last but not least, the price is low compared with others.

      I think the price is very good for what you get. I use it now for traveling because of the comfort and it is easy to take a run with it anywhere you are.

      Being honest is really important when you make a review about a product. I don’t want to mislead anyone even if a review is a bit subjective. Some people might not like in a shoe what I like and vice versa. But that is normal.

    I'm considering getting either the Utra Flow or the Hoka Challenger 7. I do prefer a medium stack height of about 30-34mm in the heel and 26-28 mm in the midsole. I just tried the Ultra FLow on in a shop and it feels comfortable for sure. I tend to run on countryside backlanes here in the UK so they are tarmac'd but strewn with mud, dirt, gravel and cow shit!! I would like to explore more trail running in the Quantock hills as well. At the moment I am leaning more towards the Ultra FLow because of the price. Does anyone have experience of running in both shoes and could give some feedback please?

      I have a Challenger 6 but I only use it for walking around, not running. I prefer the Ultra Flow for runs because it fits me better than the Hoka which is not a bad shoe either. The price is really good for the Ultra Flow too and for now it feels pretty durable.

      Moje atr 7 rozleciały się po 3 miesiącach i poszły na reklamację. Z hoka proponuje mafate speed lub speadgoat....

    How does this compare to the ultra glide?

    • @HungaroExplorer
      @HungaroExplorer  Před 8 dny

      That is a good question. I actually never tried the ultra glide so I can’t tell you the exact difference. What I know is that the Ultra Glide is made for versatile, but less technical trail running and longer distances. The Ultra Flow is built like a door to trail shoe, which means it can handle road pretty well just as well as lightee trails.

      @@HungaroExplorer Thanks. I just ordered the ultra flow but have used the glide for many utlras. The tread looks very similar so I'm guessing the glide does not have much over the flow for trails except maybe a stiffer sole and quick lase? This might just be a budget glide

    Nice review. I have a question for the sizing. I normally use Asics and my shoe size is 27.5 cm. My feet are a bit wide and I don't like tight fit so would you recommend this shoe in which size?

    • @HungaroExplorer
      @HungaroExplorer  Před 17 dny

      I didn’t wear Asics shoes for a long time…and can’t tell you if you would like this shoe or not. It is not too wide but not narrrow either. The best thing is if you try it, I think.

      @@HungaroExplorer what about sizing? What number should I get?

    • @HungaroExplorer
      @HungaroExplorer  Před 16 dny

      Try to wear the same as your Asics. But hoe I said before, it is better if you try before to make sure tou get the right size.

    Thanks for the review! How does it compare to Sense Ride 5 in your opinion? I'm looking for a good all-rounder road/light trail hiking and running shoe. What would be a better shoe between these two?

    • @HungaroExplorer
      @HungaroExplorer  Před 4 měsíci +4

      That’s a good question. In my opinion this shoe better for easy road and trail combo, it has a better cushion for that. The Sense Ride 5 can handle more technical terrain, less road and it is a faster shoe.
      I hope this helps.

      @@HungaroExplorer So I purchased this shoe in black/white, non GTX version for lighter weight. I haven't tested them properly but the cushioning/comfort/weight is really nice for what I need it for. Thanks again for the suggestion!

      Great! Yes, I would rather get the non GtX version for sure. Enjotly them!

    how does it compare against the sense ride 5?

    • @HungaroExplorer
      @HungaroExplorer  Před 12 dny +1

      The Sense Ride 5 and Ultra Flow is two very differnet shoes. The Sense Ride has a firmer, more responsive midsole. You can run faster with more energy with them. But you can get fatigued on very long runs (at least in my experience after 20+ miles)
      The Ultra Flow it has a more plush feel to it, more comfortable but right away you feel that this shoe is not for fast days or fast workout. It is great for every day easy paced training runs, longer runs, road to trail runs.
      The both have their purpose.

    Hello. I'm looking for a shoe for running and walking on 70% asphalt and 30% terrain. I'm undecided between ultra glide 2 and ultra flow. can you help me?

    • @HungaroExplorer
      @HungaroExplorer  Před 3 měsíci +2

      The Ultra Glide is made more for different kind of trails, but Ultra Flow made more like a “door to trail” shoe, so it is comfortable on the road.
      In my opinion for walking more in road than trail, I suggest the Ultra Flow.

    • @abunsal
      @abunsal Před 3 měsíci +1

      @@HungaroExplorer thanks a lot. Actually, my feet are uncombed and thin. For this reason, I cannot wear wide and loose-fitting shoes comfortably. The shoes must fit my feet tightly. Do you think ultra flow will cause a problem in this sense? Is there any other brand model you would recommend?

    • @HungaroExplorer
      @HungaroExplorer  Před 3 měsíci +1

      @abunsal the ultra flow is not loose fitting, but I think the best is if you try differebt shoes on. It is hard to tell what works with your type of foot.
