*Anyone advocating for you to get banned simply does not understand:*
1. *Language* - the wording of the rule absolutely matters, and this is not altering the mechanics of the minigame.
2. *Origin* - this rule originated from RS3 Stealing Creation abuse, actually I am the reason why this rule exists - I hosted SC lobbies for 30-50 people on stream and had 5 alts on the losing team; after two minutes I would log them out, forcing the game to end and giving players points after 2 minutes instead of 5, making the minigame 2.5x faster than intended.
This was originally abused by RS3 high-level players (Alkan, AlmostLost, iTrolledU, ...) and the only reason it got publicized is because I (and probably others) hosted lobbies for the public for a couple of days which gave people no incentive to play SC as it was intended when they could just abuse it instead.
This is not nearly on the same level, it doesn’t allow you to abuse the mechanics of the minigame. I know two of the only people that have been banned in the past for “alt abuse” - Laureana and Lack, both of which were targeted by Jagex specifically for high scores reasons.
So: this is why we have concrete rules (laws) and trials aren’t done by CZcams comments.

I havent seen anybody advocating for a ban just simply pointing out that it is, clearly, an exploit that should be patched
Jagex agrees, that's why they patched splashing out of nmz, that's why you dont get combat xp in barb assault, clearly they didnt think deep enough to someone circle jerking 5 accounts in there and doing the same thing but when you make a video drawing it to their attention yes it will get patched eventually
I don't think that Mac should be punished, but it certainly isn't cut and dry. With the exception of bredock1, I saw 2 comments HOPE for punishment and neither of them used any uppercase letters or punctuation. Trolls gonna troll. Unless they give a reason, and even then, you just don't agree with them. It's possible that I missed a few, but I think we can safely say it's
@@Ghostzapper its very cut and dry. he didnt exploit anything (all game code executed as it was intended). and it wasnt a bug (all game code executed as it was intended). he found a method the devs didnt intend and thats 100% on the devs. no question.

For non-10 HPers and people with only 1 account they can consistently use:
The Chronozon boss from Family Crest Quest (see: oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Chronozon) is fightable after the quest in NMZ.
If you read the wiki page or have fought him, you'll know that you need to hit Chronozon with 1 of each elemental blast spell in order to be able to kill him.
When Chronozon spawns in NMZ, rune spawns for the spells to hit Chronozon to weaken his magic and be able to kill him will appear.
This means you get I think like 400 casts of your best blast spell. You can pick up more, but only 400 of each rune at a time.
That's also free runes, but requires Family Crest and use of NMZ.
We're talking about a team of devs that didn't pay woox 10k because he didn't 'win fairly'

You could have saved yourself a whole lot of trouble by just pming a mod on twitter: "Hey is this okay to do?". Instead of doing that, you ask a guy who has used bugs and exploits for the exact definition of the thing that you're doing. After that you take clip about jagexs stands on the matter, which was a couple of years old. They have fixed the nightmare zone splashing so they clearly don’t want this in the game, even though it took them pretty long to change it, I’ve got to admit.
Other than that you have some huge balls to post a video of you using an exploid to get free 99 magic. Even after Jagex banning a whole lot of youtubers for abusing bugs, rwt and all those other gamebreaking things. Lets see what Jagexs stands is on exploids that will grand you free 99 magic, I'm curious.

Lol glad to see somebody actually used this. It’s been a funny method because almost nobody wants to log in 5 accounts to splash on 2 for less xp/hr then alching. I think what you did was totally fine :) I like that you have the back up account in training ;)
its an ironman. He got all this xp for free dumbass. He didnt have to go buy 40-45k nats to get 82 mage saving himself 10m gp or many many hours of obtaining alchable items

Dude I know I'm late to the party but I started watching these and im binging them all. I saw the finale episode get uploaded and thats what started my binge. This is a great series man. 1 thing ill say tho (not that it even matters because this was like 2 years ago) I do think this is a grey line of bug abuse because jagex intends for you to play the mini game the way it was supposed to be played, regardless tho that Mod Mat K video sealed that what you were doing wasn't against the rules and I think thats pretty much all that needed to be said. Regardless I love your videos and I would've done that method too if I had known about it. And I'm gonna keep watching until the finale. Thanks again for making this content man

Eh, that rule was created mostly for the people abusing alts to get huge amounts of bonus exp on RS3, but it's literally never enforced on either game. I've never heard of anyone being banned for breaking it and I know many people that broke it for bonus exp on RS3 and cwars tickets on OSRS.

100% agree. That's why I tried justifying my reasoning and logic behind my method and why I thought it was okay. The common thing I'm seeing is it's against the rules to use multiple accounts to alter the results of a minigame. I should've touched on this point in the video -- but my feelings is that was more or less created to prevent castle wars boosting.

Naw tech you dont even need a wall you can do this solo if you get the rangers trapped in corner on your splasher cuz the melee cant walk up that ramp at all. The corner is a 100% safe spot for low lvl and 1 def accs. Been like that since rs2. The exploit is getting magic xp from splashing in it since it shouldn't give any xp at all

I would be more worried about multi-logging (using multiple accounts for the in game benefits of one) than any free rune exploiting... New sub tho!!! Can't wait for more content!

watch very closely at 7:36, I right click the screen quickly. I would do this on each account every 5 minutes or so.

Oooor, high alch can profit a bit, gives 65 xp per alch. Splash gives like 16 experience if not less ( regular fire strike ). Its whatever/ however you want!

Only sketchy thing I can think of is multi-logging. But I think jagex gave up on that a while ago. Also you mentioned one of the accounts was your friend's, isn't account sharing still bannable?

There's a difference between splashing in NMZ using your own runes and using free runes from BA with 4 alt accounts. That's a pretty significant exploit.
You get free runes in nmz endurance floors as well. Just load up on absorbs, get to an easy boss like count draynor, and you're set to splash for free (or used to be, I guess).

See I have to disagree with all the people here saying point of an ironman is that stuff needs to be harder... the point of an ironman is to play the game without trading, that is the difficulty. The point is to find a way to make progress without the convenience of something like the GE. I have always felt that one of the more appealing aspects of ironmen is the critical thinking and creativity in ways to go about doing this. It doesnt take anything special to just grind harder or longer, stuff like this is actually interesting and shows a deep interest in the game and its mechanics.

I mean, it's great for afk experience.. but you need to make 5 accounts to pull it off. On the other hand, for a little less afk action, you can just go to the Arceuus Library.
