The Skim Chaser Surfskate Slide Guide. Frontside Slides

Todays video talks about different in depth tips for learning Frontside Stand up slides on a surfskate. I am riding a Soulboardiy deck, with Grasp trucks. For Learning I would suggest Powell Peralta rat bones or dragon formula wheels. Any smaller wheel (60 mm), with a slightly more narrow contact patch, and rounded lips would be also be ideal.

Absolutely!! There is so much that goes into some of those slides. Im hoping that after we get though a few episodes of this slide guide, that I will be able to share enough knowledge for the steeper and more complicated slides to be more approachable. Some of those slides are pretty dangerous ngl. The one thing I can recommend is to watch these in order, because the information will build off the last video. Ill start leaving the episode number in the video description👍🏻

Great suggestions about foot position. Very confusing coming from a snowboard. I got a skateboard and a surfskate. Would you say sliding is easier or harder on the surfskate?

initiating a small slide on flat or doing slides on ramps can be a lot easier on a surfskate. doing long slides or slides at higher speeds are easier on longboards
