Synergy Session 1. An early impression and review.
Welcome to the first synergy session. Synergy skate trucks are a prototype truck from Shanghai, China, made by Kaiyuan Wang. After making this video I am convinced that this is the next big thing in the surfskate world, for the following reasons,
-Consistent and better controlled four wheel slides
-Increased pumping speeds especially in the skatepark.
- Very. customizable, with different pivot cup technology and assorted rear truck angles to choose from
- highly maneuverable and stable on flat ground (360 slides and spins) (increased control while riding switch, depending on truck setup)

Me and a couple buddies took some surf skates to the Irvine Super bank next to the San Diego Creek. I took the 6 foot longboard with waterborne adapters down each bank. The viper is for high preformance sliding, which mark and Steve don’t do… so they unfortunately would not be the best to review this. Also surfskate love is notoriously dishonest about his product reviews. So unfortunately we will be going a very different direction with marketing and reviews on this board. Appreciate the suggestion!

Great suggestions about foot position. Very confusing coming from a snowboard. I got a skateboard and a surfskate. Would you say sliding is easier or harder on the surfskate?
initiating a small slide on flat or doing slides on ramps can be a lot easier on a surfskate. doing long slides or slides at higher speeds are easier on longboards

Wow very interesting 💪😎 How you would compare it to carver trucks 🤙?
They preform better than the carver trucks in every aspect. They are also more customizable, so instead of buying a cx and a c5, you can buy a pair of synergy trucks and get the same experience.

Nice review. I've learned to appreciate the narrow boards. They can provide that same sharp turn radious with a completely different geometry and feel. This Carver, definitely pulls it off.

yeah there's defiantly problems with the deck itself. I do like the trucks tho. the deck is a carver pet project. I don't know where they get their decks and I don't know how it's affordable to be chopping down an already finished deck to sell to the public. it's probably because they charge so much..

Thanks for hopping on this quick to give us an overview, I think I've seen your videos elsewhere before, your slides on banks are sick af 10 degree dewedge on the rear truck makes the C5 a very speedworthy truck set! Plus a change of bushings. I'm stoked to try these narrow ones out soon 🤙

Absolutely!! There is so much that goes into some of those slides. Im hoping that after we get though a few episodes of this slide guide, that I will be able to share enough knowledge for the steeper and more complicated slides to be more approachable. Some of those slides are pretty dangerous ngl. The one thing I can recommend is to watch these in order, because the information will build off the last video. Ill start leaving the episode number in the video description👍🏻 Stay tuned
