What struck me is his address to the church. People were dead and hospitalized and he said "I'm the target, they couldn't get me" and the congregation was clapping and cheering 😮😮😮 what about those who were in the building? Are their lives not important too? What's the point of a pastor if the congregation can die with no consequence?
It reveal a lot about the human psyche. Even after that building collapse I remember wondering why people are not questioning why he never saw it coming yet claims to see celebrities dying everytime. There is also a service where he tell some parent who lost their child that it was God's will saying who knows what that kid could have grown up to be and maybe it was for the best and people clapped. Like seriously? , rich people in western countries never pray and dont even deal with a tenth of the bullshit that africans deal with every second because its a 'test'

A neighbor whose husband was HIV positive was told he was healed and he even began to get better, he paid for holy water, lodged in the hotel after days a negative result was presented to them... She and her family even invited my mom and very few people they trusted who joined them to the church for thanksgiving, they threw a party for healing when they got home, he stopped his drugs and died weeks later from HIV... The woman is currently still alive and taking her drugs, she absolutely loathes him, i wish she had also been contacted for her to tell her story (even though dhe might nt want to as HIV is still stigmatize in the country)

The problem of many is that they believe in the prayers of others more than praying to God themselves. The truth is that no one will pray for you more than you pray for yourselves. I am a believer and I believe God can answer any prayer I render to him directly rather looking for others to help me pray to my father. Gone are the days when God passed through his servants to heal his people except for few exceptions who are truly God's servant. The point here is, stop running after miracles and you will never meet many of other TB Joshuas out there because even till now we have many of such churches exist every not only in Nigeria. Let's be wise, the days are evil.

I see most people saying they had no discernment and they should've know God for themselves. Take into consideration that most of them were young when they got into this. 16/17 is when most are trying to find their path n direction and have not really had that deep encounter with God and are most vulnerable, obviously they wouldn't target older people because they may already have a deeper knowledge and encounter with God and will definitely call them out of their wrongs.
My heart goes out to them all....whether this particular documentary is true or not but we still know that such things are happening out there in the world n it's so sad to see how some people are eager to seek for God more or seek for solutions to their problems but end up being doomed instead.

I wish they had said how exactly those women managed to leave/escape when their passports were taken from them, or how they got temporary permission to return to their home countries before deciding not to return. I'm very curious about the escape itself as I heard it's physically difficult to get out of a cult.

@kudzimusar I'm thinking it could also be that there are still "disciples" trapped in there who may need to escape the same way and they don't want to give away how they escaped and in case people of the synagogue are watching. I do believe the testimonies (these witnesses have nothing to gain from it but everything to lose) but I suppose there's only so much which can be put into these episodes.

My own testimony..I started following TB Joshua online I even became a partner and was even planning to go to Nigeria. I'm a born again Christian so one day I had a dream. I saw TB Joshua in my dream turning into a huge snake 🐍 and that was it, the urge to follow him ceased. I thank God for showing me this man before I moved further.

Facts shows you the church is asleep and most Christians won’t make it to heaven. They can’t discern darkness, his whole vibe is dark you don’t need proof to feel that, also no man of God owns a private jet
As much as all of them were at some level victims, I felt deeply for the daughter. It must be horrific to have such a human being for a genitor, to have not chosen at any point to join the church and to have been betrayed in all ways possible by that same man who should have been her protector. But yet she was apparently the first to confront him! She is a quite hero, that courageous woman who was wounded so bad that she chose or rather ended up not showing her emotions at all. I hope none of them loose hope, trust or love along the way. I pray that God gives to all of them what they need and that they live, as much as possible, a happy life!
