Ford relay testing. All 4 & 5 pin relays fuel pump, starter, AC, PCM, and horn

Motors, whether electrical or belt driven mechanical need a way to be controlled when needed and not needed. That's where relays come into the picture. Cooling fans, starter motor, ac compressor, blower motor, fuel pump, windshield wipers, horns, and etc are all controlled by relays from one fashion to another. This video shows how to test any 12v automotive relay to make sure they not only work, but also that they haven't became weak or shorted.

Ford explorer 2014 PowerTrain Relay stays energized (coil powered) with key off, drains battery over night. After removing the relay and putting it back it did not energize ( click on and draw current) how ever after driving yesterday and parking last night, it is staying energized again draining the battery. What energizes that relay, the switch the PCM?
