- Glass Central Station is honored to present this content from the 2019 ISGB Open Torch Night at the Glass Craft & Bead Expo. David Kaminski is known for his precise murrine work, often making his own colors to accomplish a project. In this demonstration, he shared a recipe & method of mixing rods to make an encasement-safe fleshtone color and showed off a prototype Sharp Flame Grand torch from Bethlehem.

That Bethlehem milli is so clean, I've not seen a better representation of a logo.
Anyone experiment with adding maybe 1 part brown for a Mexican skin tone?
now that you have an idea of the recipe, you can go crazy and try out your own skin tone. thats the awesome part of these videos! inspires you to try something new :) definitely try that mixture and let us know on the facebook page! i like the idea!
It would be really great to know which colours were actually used. Red, white and yellow, yes, but which brand of glass?
