We have all wondered if crap hit the wall how prepared we would be, so in this video I look at my gear, and make a prediction on how long I would last! I gave three scenarios, one where there was a grid blackout, one where the grid had a blackout and there was a Red Dawn situation going on, and the last was a grid blackout with the Red Dawn situation, AND it's the start of the Zombie Apocalypse! I go over what food, water, transportation, guns, knife, and other tools I would use to survive!

@johnf6967 I'm just a blackout I completely agree! But if the unlikely event of enemy's on our soil, I live too close to the interstate to feel safe.
I’ve been taking bushcraft classes and going out camping more. I’ve also been learning about what’s edible during each season so I can hopefully always find something to eat. After watching the TV show alone it does seem like after a month a lot of people don’t make it. Either from starting to starve themselves, getting injured, or really bad digestive issues. I’ve also taken a few firearm classes. Trying to get good so I don’t need a lot of stuff to survive and I can keep it light. Hopefully all within one back pack.
That's awsome man! I think eventually I'll try to take some bushcraft classes, but in the fall need to take some medical classes to fully be certified to use my medkits. But I agree a lot of people wouldn't make the first month, most of the people in the big cities are screwed, just too many people and not enough resources if the logistic chance stop. My main concern I didn't talk about is only having two pairs of glasses, if both broke I'm screwed haha
i have a good collection of knives, a few tarps, a bike, plenty of blankets, a good knowledge of how to fish, and a few lakes nearby me, i also have a decent med kit and a very good understanding of how to use it and how to purify water, id say id last a pretty good amount of time as long as i dont get attacked, i can make a small forest camp and have a steel helmet that would be decent protection against elements and head wounds

@SenorsavageX I'm slowly building up, but shoot a lot on the channel so it goes up and down. But I didn't have all of the guns or ammo I have in the video either!
so you have firearms, but have no clue how to use a tourniquet, or have any basic first aid knowledge about gun shot wounds... that is absolutely laughable..... get some training to go with your gear..... to me, thats just irresponsible.... you have the means to put holes in people, but not to patch them up... just wow, but hey, good luck...
Not sure if you watched much of the video, sounds like you may have skipped around. But just got my concealed carry and have plans to take a few medical certifications in the fall once I get back to the states. A little quick to judge there my man, just having fun and learning when I have time! It's a process
