We (I am from Germany) just do not get why Britain wants all the advantages while disregarding all necessary and not to big concessions, even during the membership the Uk always held special priviliges.
Interesting that the "Leave Party"(dont know what its called rlly dont hang me pls) received financial support from a russian millionaire standing in contact with Camebridge Analytica and various Russian hacker/troll orgs and that Brexit only became a big thing with growing social media.

Actually Switzerland had an active request to join until a few years ago. It was sent in the early 1990s and then frozen when we tried to figure out how to profit from the EU development without having to join. That process resulted in the bilateral agreements, which we have signed hundreds of by now. However this special treatment is coming to an end, as the EU are getting tired of having to deal with the special kid in the middle. In the long run only full membership is reasonable. We are paying, we are adhering to EU laws and programs, but we have no representation in Brussels. Not exactly smart.

Until you had this basic understanding
you can't understand God or religion
God’s religion and constitution and invitation to return to it,
      is not for God or
      God requires it...
God is very much above human worships and magnifications.
God has burning hot star and planet and creation more power than star to magnify Him and worship Him
      89:22
But all these is for humans prosperity, for humans betterment and universal stability, so that all humans live peaceful and share God awarded resources equally and convert struggling life of planet earth to easy and peaceful life of paradise.
Why this Godly constitution and forceful application is necessary ?
      See the history ?
      Living example
All the teaching of love and affection in name Jesus Christ
      couldn't stop Christian nations from
Developing and manufacturing advanced and sophisticated weaponry
Christians nation form beginning remain a “catalyst” in igniting war and battles
and design conspiracies that help them market their weapon business.
And Hinduism can't give up caste system, to establish their domination.
And every religion has this kind of agenda but Islam the obedience is certified way to universal equality and prosperity.
Every Religion has two faces, Individual and National.
Religions on individual level are different and
      national level are different
see Christianity in books and in person and see same Christianity when they establish nation.
World Wars, Colonization, Genocide in past, now Christians nations rest as Catalysts.
See Hinduism in books and in persons and wrongly popular as most tolerant religion and when Hindu have nation ?
See what the are doing in India, Burma......
Have any one see any Muslim national carry mass murder and genocide ?
Muslims can't this is against Laws of Creator of universe and Quran 17:33 and 6:151.
And Islam is all the same on personal level or state level because, it is for prosperity and justice for total humanity, it does not divide people on caste, creed, social status or religion.
Islam doest divide earth in different nation, but instructions to establish total earth as one nation
      Check Quran 4:1 and 7:189 and 39:6
If anyone doesn’t believe in true creator God, the matter is between them and God and they will face punishment in next life, but on planet earth, they will have respect and equal status. Quran 2;256.
But they are not allowed to tamper the constitution awarded by God, which establishes division free, boundary free, equal right, equal share in resources of earth.
This is Islam the obedience of genuine, Planner, Programmer, Designer, and Architect of entire universe.
And it is challenge for Humanity to accept from Him that constitution, One who Designs and Organized and established Perfect legislation among huge Stars, Planets, and huge Creatures, is bound to establish Universal Just constitution for Humans.
And Human when they ignore it, deny it, are bound to suffer as humanity is suffering since history...... Adnan

Sure, there're cultural issues, but they stem from globalisation and not from the EU in particular. Dutch themselves did a lot to create a globalised world. Regarding referendums, they are consultancies only. It would be a mistake that they are all obeyed. And regarding democracy, what we all have is a representative government as opposed to a direct vote. The NL won't be more democratic on its own, in my opinion.

Until you had this basic understanding
you can't understand God or religion
God’s religion and constitution and invitation to return to it,
      is not for God or
      God requires it or
      God loves domination of humanity.
But all these is for humans prosperity, for humans betterment and universal stability, so that all humans live peaceful and share God awarded resources equally and convert struggling life of planet earth to easy and peaceful life of paradise.
See Hinduism in books and in persons as most tolerant religion and when Hindu have nation.
And Islam is all the same as personal level or state level because it is for prosperity and justice for total humanity, it does not divide people on caste creed or social status..

There is an inaccuracy at 2:20.
The UK attempted to sabotage the EEC by creating its own version of an EEC.
Once that failed, it then applied to join the EEC. France rejected the UK because they considered the UK to be too divisive and not in favour of a "european union" (which was in direct conflict with french plans to promote closer ties between european countries)
8:00 inaccuracy: the french rejected through referendum because the constitution was not unionist enough. You have toge t your facts straight. The main issue of contention between France and the UK has always been that the Uk wanted only economic ties while France wanted a United States of Europe. Thus the constituion was neither of the two. The french people rejected it because they wanted a more "United States of Europe" and a less just EEC
This is also why the UK ultimately got a... brexit

@@pandaonsteroids5154 your first point is a lie! the French didn't want the UK to prosper from the closer ties, France and Britain are historical Enemies and France still resents the UK for the loss of its colonies in North America. apparently bankrupting and expending millions of British lives in 2 world wars on french soil plus hosting the French government in London during ww2 was not enough for France to extend the arm of brotherhood to the UK. this is the reason the UK left the EU .. France had control over the UK in ways which was never intended nor accepted. we were treated badly and used as a piggy bank for your New Empire. many will follow us out the door. its sad it had to come to this but the EEC we joined no longer exists.

Also since you are from Turkey, do you know why your goverment doesn't let Cyprus reunify? It's been nearly 50 years since then, I get it that back then it did it to save the Cypriot turks from having their rights taken, but there's no way that even now the Cypriot greeks want to do an ethnic cleansing. This thing of keeping the island separated in two is not helping at all.
