What an experience on a next level indeed. Spectacular, and Happy New Year. Yeah, I can see what you mean by missing all the features at home but this game in Copenhagen undoubtedly went through an intricate and costly development time over the 5 years. But at least this project does initiate entirely new ideas. Feasibility is of course up to the beholder, but what a sensational new venture 🙂

There is a model railway in Niagara Falls, Canada, which allows patrons to control some trains, but nothing as complex as this.

what a great idea ! one drawback seems to be that the maximum number of drivers are six during a driver period of 30 t 60 minutes. maybe you could make a reservation ? i think that is a must . anyway good work !
You must be correct about the reservations. That would give the sensation of being at the central station, waiting for your scheduled departure. I agree - good work!

You guys in Europe are at another level when it comes model railways. Love to visit but from Sydney Australia is a bit too far to just duck over.

Isn’t it a bit contra intuitive to be at the command of a loco while having to look for signals on the layout? I think I would maybe prefer a cabin view when driving and before or afterwards just enjoying the trains on the layout

I wonder how they managed to still have a Roco wagon with digital open/close doors in function yet?
This looks pretty darn cool! Something I've been wondering is if a program like OBS (yes, for streaming) could be connected to a program like Rocrail or TrainController or the like, so that alerts/redeems could be used to trigger events on a layout.
...I'd like to apply for the job. Sure, did you bring your headphones?
