Many indian nationalist movements happened in modern day Pakistan, in fact the hindus, sikhs, and muslims banded together to fight the british. They used to march on this song and they were fighting alongside japanese troops to free India from britain during the world war 2. The man in the picture is one of most famous leaders of India netaji Subhash Chandra bose. British banned this song during the rule but when we got independence was first thing was done to unban it and the modern day Indian army marches on the same song.
