- In today’s video, we tour a lovely mountain view vacation home with the building contractor. This 7-bedroom house has so many unique details. The property comes with a suspended infinity swimming pool, a summer hut and large garden, an indoor cinema, an outdoor fire pit, an outstanding view and so much more.
Gibson walks us through the home and tells us about the building journey and some cost elements.

Michael Gibson Kumah is a great civil engineer. The tough of class on this very building is a beauty to behold. Trust me. I saw the bare land, the filling of the same, the finishing of the house and I had a feel of entering it after fully it was full furnish.

Everything you said is true but I can tell that I can't afford him. This guy is a quality builder. I'll have to take my chances with a lesser caliber builder. I'm saying this because I've already retired. Whatever money I have that's it. And it's not much.

The type of house I'd love to build, perhaps a bit smaller.... Lovely through and through. That's the difference an architect and structural engineer(or a contractor with engineering background) make.

I love the way you trying to figure out the cost for your viewers, but costs are varied different depending on several factors (artisan, area, depreciation, volumes, etc.)

I would like you to connect me with the architect to pick on his brains and perhaps provide some ideas to my builder. The cassette type AC unit comes has it's own cons including leaking and clogging with dust. The farther the distance from the outdoor unit, the less efficient the coolant works. You'll have to weigh the variables. The other has its own issues

Nice house, I did notice that the front of the house is on a downward slope but I did not see any drainage for the water in the tiles, did I miss it?
I really love this view and architecture but one thing I didn't see is probably if there is a disabled access to all these facilities. In case those factors will be included, I am sure there will be price increases but I think the architect should have factored that. I definitely will build a mansion soon.

My fav part abt this home is the view … i don’t care too much for the pool …not safe esp if you have toddlers
So longs they have the right power tools there is nothing that cannot be done the more experience they get the better they become power light water proper sewage system and a green environment food security you cannot beat that but for me I must have fruit trees and a vegetables around my house I don't want another concrete jungle apart from that yes the house looks very nice
That swimming pool is super cheap yet it's infinity pool.
Basic looking pools in Kenya cost not less than $17,000. Above would cost $25K - $30k.

Thanks for a great video, keep up the good work. My dream is to build a house on a hillside with view as the video. I am therefore wondering which areas in Accra is the best for that?. I have through research found Aburi to be hillside land but the price is apparently $70k per plot according to an agent. I am looking for affordable area and would be grateful for any advice I get🙏🏾.
Is that gate cost correct? About $1,500 USD to gate the 2 plots? I was always told putting the gates would cost around $8k USD. Interesting. Maybe he was just talking about the gate and not the walls?
